They have actually done a pretty good job of supporting Steam overall. But yeah, would love to see them at least integrate better with Steam as far as sharing libraries. I get that they don't want to lose that commision from a store purchase but it could integrate better after the installation.
@Goldby: If you are running Steam in Windows 10, then yeah, some of that money went to MS.
I think they decided that doing this through a streaming service would be better in the end. That way even PC owners with weak hardware could take advantage of GamePass. I prefer native games, but in this case Streaming is probably better than emulation which also isn't native.
The company was founded just 8 years ago.
maybe you don't realize where he went to work. Which is fine. You don't seem to know much.
Would love to see them make a UX for Windows 10 that worked with a controller as well. Doesn't have to control much but maybe just have it set like Steam where the Xbox Button on the controller opens the shell and allows you to start games. And definitely needs to integrate better with Steam as right now there are issues over what happens with this button.
You really are touched. You do realize that the next Halo is being made for PC right? And you do realize that my comment about 4k was about the past? Seriously dude, let it go. You have no argument here. He will be working on higher end hardware no matter what. My comment is relevant. Your butt hurt is not.
In which I told you, that PC textures would be even higher quality at that point so the point remains. Try to read before commenting.
Would be nice if games like Halo 5 and Sunset Overdrive were available on PC. Sadly though we will probably end up getting it though a streaming service for GamePass and not native games.
It is an interesting game.. Maybe tries to be too much by juggling multiple mechanics and gameplay types but they do a pretty good job in each area they attempt.
So excited for this expansion
So I said grew tired "past tense" and you argue that the future means he didn't grow tired of it.. lol, reading comprehension is truly hard eh.
So many spoilers.. beware. But it does sound awesome
How does one grow tired of something that isn't the norm yet? Or are you just that daft. Never mind. We all know the answer there.
And 8k will be the standard on PC which makes your assumption as lame as your attack.
The truth is not trolling. Any person working on textures is going to want to have a platform where they can shine. Faux K isn't going to cut it.
Gears or War 4 is still a tech showcase in the industry. As are all the Forza games. Ghost and TLOU look ok. Not much as far as effects going on, but they are going for more realistic. Which is fine but hardly good showcases for graphics. PS badly needs a new console. Games like Red Dead and Shadows Die Twice will most likely be the best games of this generation and X and PC will have a firm hold over having the best versions.
They certainly seem to understand what makes gaming fun. And are technical masters. Can't wait to see what they do in a different genre.
I do like that they are taking the game somewhere a little more open and less grungy. Will be a nice change. Was hoping they would work on another franchise like Perfect Dark but at least they seem to be changing the Gears formula up a bit.
They offered a free upgrade to Windows 7 owners for a long time. The issue is that Windows 7 has fundamental security flaws that make it not safe. They do not want users using it anymore. And it isn't like it had limited support. They did support it for over 10 years.
