""and works over the internet"" that is debatable haha, but technically yes.

I will be pretty sad if it really requires Crucible. Just not my thing.

I am excited. Always enjoyed how the UI for Xbox Consoles evolves over time in such a drastic fashion. Almost like getting a new console every year.

Lol, the one I couldn't find was the one in the tree.

That code right there is using Kinect the same as any Microphone. It sets the bitrate, it sets the noise cancellation and it captures the audio stream to analyze. The Kinect speech recognition API is run on the gpu not the Kinect. Xbox even reserves a small portion of the gpu just for Kinect operations.

Kinect does have its own processor but it is only capably of recognizing the phrase Xbox On and also Xbox to get its attention.

The hype never went away. It has been in the top 5 Most Played games on both X1 and PS4 store since launch. Never fallen out a single time.

There is a lot of hate, but that comes with every popular product.

Sort of. Xbox On is deciphered purely by the device, and the word Xbox is processed by Kinect. But the commands once you have its attention are processed by the GPU of the Xbox in order to be more accurate.

That is not true. In Windows 10 you can make Cortana listen for "Hey Cortana". When doing so it goes into always on mode. It eats more battery though so be careful!

@Kingslayer: Kinect is always using power as well. It is just plugged in haha. If you plugged in your laptop it would be the same situation. Although it would not be listening when it was turned off, asleep like Kinect does.

But you will miss out on day 1 of the new Raid! Nothing like that first day when everyone is blind. It is gaming at its absolute best.

After that, the information and strategies start to flow and it is more about following instructions instead of solving a puzzle.

I went through this stage a long time ago haha. There was one in Venus I had to look up though. I could not find it.

2am, damn. Not sure I can make that but I am going to try! Taking Tuesday off regardless, so excited for the new subclasses.

Thanks for the update, captain obvious : )

Still awesome for sure! But my friends list is usually all people playing either Destiny or Elder Scrolls haha.

I did enjoy Titanfall quite a bit but I enjoy Destiny a lot more. Too bad Titanfall didn't have more coop stuff.

Just out of curiosity but what is the shooter of the moment right now?

3893d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Agree, but I don't think I will be buying any PS4 games this holiday. Just too much to play on X1. But next Spring will be all about Uncharted!

The diversity of PC gaming is what really is awesome to me. You have awesome card games like Hearthstone, all the best MOBA's, most of the best AAA Consoles games, all the best Strategy games, and in most cases all the best Mobile games too. PC is just the ultimate gaming experience.

They had a mini app that let you scan any object in and play with it on 360. I scanned everything I owned haha.

Because no one cares about Ghost. Cortana is one of the most beloved gaming characters of all time.

We connected with Cortana, we cared about her.
