I remember a time when jokes used to be funny and made more sense.
While I agree that they're very different games.
They still could have done more with it. It's just empty an empty waste.
He meant that the developer focus on graphics is becoming excessive.

Updates firmware in 5 minutes at most and updates games in about 2 minutes.
Although 4GB demos usually take a lot longer.
But if you can take the time to set this up, then go ahead.
Then I guess it's not for you then, is it.
Aside from Trophies, there may be some new texture details that were not seen before (on PS2 or emulated on PC). Plus it won't be stretched to widescreen format.

I hope they have a plan... wouldn't want this to be an indefinite thing.
I think they meant level design-wise, not story.
Nothing wrong with open world either as long as it feels focused like Jak on the PS2 was.
I think you meant sandbox. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of those either.
1 - Pong was a rip of another game.
2 - Pacman was great, but so were many other arcade games.
3 - You mean Super Mario Bros 3.
[If you're gonna make a Nintendo biased list and niglect Sony exclusives, at least make it more reasonable. SMB3 had better level design, worlds, music, power-up and overall gameplay than SMB1.]

because he was the only main character with no hair bangs. And also because he didn't saying or did annoying sh*t all the time and had a descent back story on top of that.

Seriously? How could you not tell it would be an HD/High-res remaster a la MGS HD.
It's implied in the name! Square Enix wouldn't do it unless the game is 20 years old and/or 2D.
He's said that MGS3 was his favorite a while ago. So it's not really much of a reveal.
PS+ has NOTHING to do with the ability to play online and it's optional.
And that "Sam's Club card" you call actually got me several discounted and free games(PS3/PSN and classics) and DLC amounting to $200+ in value. Including RRD+Undead Nightmare bundle for $25 last year and discounts on games like SFIII:Online for $10 on release/launch day instead of the $15 you had to pay.
PSN itself also gets discounts. BUT XBL discounts just don't ...
After "The Black Eyed Peas Experience", I wouldn't be surprised if this was true.
I'm not knocking it.
Yes, resolution, detail, AA, etc etc. It's obviously better.
I'm just saying that the lighting doesn't capture that photo-realistic feel (yet).

Because lol.

People need to understand that, for the most part, it's just nostalgia speaking and a remake will never be as good. It might be, from a technical stand point, but it will never give you the same feeling as when you first played the game.
You'll only get that satisfaction if you go back and play the original game!
Otherwise, expect A LOT of fan backlash because Square Enix f***d somethings up, streamlined and changed things somehow.
It's inevitable...
Congratulations Kinect owners! :D
Man, I am sure missing out :/
