Overall, yes. Yes it does.
Hopefully you can download this PSP game to the Vita from the PS Store.

And since when is a web browser representative of all of Sony's software???
You might want to rethink that statement.
It works when you need it.
Seriously, you were absolutely jumpy on this one.
All he said was that it had been improved previously and you put words in his mouth... geez man.
You can take that literally and be an ass (like on every Vita article).
Or you could provably imagine that COD on the PS Vita will be a more unique game (using Vita functions).
Or maybe it's just a regular COD game.
Vita has comparable graphics and gameplay, controls and multiplayer not found on previous handheld COD titles.
And whether it's a unique game or multiplatform... does it matter?
IT'S GOOD PUBLICITY FOR THE VITA...
You're in almost every PS Vita related article being a hater.
Sorry, I didn't mean to respond to you.
It was more directed toward the article.
Sounds like someone needs to do more research or hit your local gaming store or PSN(on Vita).
Uncharted, Super Stardust, Lumines, Ultimate MVC3, BlazBlue, Escape Plan, Tales from Space, Rayman Origins + Sports games.
Are only some of the first games that are "GOOD".
LBP, Killzone, COD, Resistance, Gravity Rush, etc, among other games mentioned by the guy bellow.
So yes, that logic is wrong.
____
PS. ...
COD on the DS was nothing like COD on consoles.
And the PSP and DS were released BEFORE COD hit its insane mainstream fame on the home consoles AFTER COD4.
* Dual-analogue sticks
* Comparable graphics and gameplay
* And multiplayer are key to the PS Vita.
None of those features were on any previous handheld releases (DS or PSP).
* Exclusivity is irrelevant. What does it matter?
And what if it was a gam...
COD on the DS was nothing like COD on consoles.

And how many potential PS2 or SNES owners didn't already own a PS1 or NES?
A brand new PS2 didn't have a lot of titles when it launched and while its predecessor(the PS1) did.
Backwards compatibility is a great bonus, but come on....
No system ever releases with an entire library of games. Not the 3DS, not the 360, Wii or PS3.
They build up over time and sometimes quickly.
I could go on, but I think you get why that logic ...
I would also like to add Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow AND Final Fantasy IV: Complete Collection to the list.

@people above,
The HD collection will be released on the Vita which includes Peace Walker. No need for mapping. Although it's still TBA.
You're not supposed to choose between one or the other since they're both different.
* The PS Vita is not a phone.
* And phones can't play the same games or control like the PS Vita or even 3DS. No PSN, etc.
3DS sold better in its first year than the original DS.
So yes, handheld gaming still very much has a market.
Yeah yeah Nintendo fanboy.
""family friendly game that little children love"".
Really? You're rather clueless.
I know more adults that play LBP.
And his Gears example was spot on.
1. It's a PlayStation site.
2. As such, they put "PS3" to separate them from PSP and PS Vita games.
3. Just because they're multiplatform doesn't change the fact that they're still PS3 games. The words "exclusive" or "only on" were not used.
Like 'hellztourguide420' said, WiFi isn't that rare. I have one in my house as well.
@ZippyZapper,
Quit trolling. No one suddenly loves COD. People are just saying that it'll be good for the Vita.
We'll see PS2 games on the Vita in the form of Final Fantasy X HD and in Collections like Metal Gear Solid HD.
And for PS3 games, there's Remote Play and multiplatform games.
It'll only be DLC supported. No new "revisions".
New smartphones are released every month. The PS3 hardware was launched in 2006. You can't compare them.
A smartphone from 2006 wouldn't even compare to the PS3's web browser.
