There are 10 times more articles about PSN being down for maintenance than articles about it being back up!

I see you got pretty defensive about Mircrosoft losing touch with the hardcore community, but insinuated that others(Sony) did lose touch just because most of their core games aren't coming out this year? Is that it!? LOL you just jelly.
By the way, PS Battle Royale and LBP Karting come out this year and so do several Vita games.

I don't know about today, but most of the time these websites make news every time "PSN is down for maintenance" for less than 1 hour. It's ridiculous.
Anyway, back on topic.
How long did the outage last? I signed in on my PS3 today and didn't even realize anything happened lol.
There are some people that say they wish it was even more like Smash Bros. And others who say it's too much like Smash Bros.
For example: Jak and Daxter is not a sequel to Crash Bandicoot, even though they share some similarities and are made by the same studio.
This game has LBP written all over it.
Layout and comfort(shape) are slightly two different things.
360 controller may be more comfortable to HOLD for some, but I find the PlayStation controller is more comfortable to PLAY WITH personally.
Might have to do with the D-pad and buttons just being too awesome or something :P

EITHER WAY, the point is that Sony delivered games. You can go ahead and focus on release dates all you want, which btw, is a poor argument for "I'm sad I don't have enough 360 exclusives :( ".

Naughty Dog usually updates their character models while still in development. See: Nathan Drake early Uncharted 2 reveal vs final version for example.

People anticipate E3 much more than any other event. It's one of the most heated too.

You kidding. We hadn't seen GOW single player gameplay until just now.
Everyone wanted to see that because some people were skeptical about the MP.
What they needed to do was cut that wonderbook presentation.
Other than that, everything else shown was GREAT!
I'm really interested in Beyond: Two Souls and I think The Last of Us ended the show with a bang!
And at least they showed some good games though :)
Cross-play and Wii U are two different things.
Cross-play with Vita can be done from anywhere.
However with the Wii U gamepad you can't leave the room.
Also, the Vita is an entire gaming system on its own.
The Gamepad is just that, a controller that needs the Wii U console to work.
