Sound on Shift seems better, which is easy to do when most cars sound pretty similar. They also added more effects such as a turbocharger.

Comparing the PS3 version with the PC version you'll notice more similarities. 360 is the odd one out(plus screen tearing).
What you're seeing is a harsher contrast. 360 has a problem displaying gamma levels properly.
It may seem appealing to the untrained eye. But there's a lot of detail lost in the shadows due to the black crush displayed by the 360, like shown here

Yeah, Turn10 shows like about 5 seconds of actual in-game footage sprinkled throughout a 3 minute trailer and fanboys are already saying it looks better than GT5.

I think I might just agree with what you said.
Although I think KZ3 did a better job with the dynamic water(the interactive parts) you can walk though.

Casual games are the ones that are the most mainstream. Such as Wii Sports/Fit/COD etc.
Many still believe that games ARE STILL for kids and parents and media freak out over violence and any nudity(especially nudity) and complain about why they're selling these games to kids. There are ratings for a reason.
