Aren't there any better articles to submit?
______
@ BakedGoods,
The what the hell is the point of comparing PC if you say it's always going to win?
It's no use.
If you don't like story
- Press [start] button
- Select [skip cutscene]
Problem solved.
You're ignoring the fact that cinematic cutscenes are few and that most actions scenes(which are the majority) happen in-real time with the player still in control.
Again, you're making an huge issue out of nothing. People actually enjoy the cutscenes.
If you don't care about story, maybe you should stay away from games like Uncharted and go back to your 360.
I only remember Gears and Resistance getting a lot of crap for being grey/brown.
______
I think most of those Resistance 3 pics used in the article are a bit outdated.
The main difference with Cole was simply his look. His personality and overall character remained pretty much the same, unlike the new Dante.
Such claims were made for processing power for games.
Since when did it become about a chatting feature.
But it's not a universal feature.
@fullmetal297
I don't get the irony...
______
It won't be done on PS3.
People have gotten around without it no problem for 5 years.
Let it go.
______
I have noticed that there's a bit of a double standard in this subject here on N4G.
Apparently, absolutely no one could possibly not care much for cross-game chat unless they are obviously fanboys.
We all know it's useful.
I personally would like to ...
Except that people DO have friends and CAN game and talk.
You can still chat online with friends while playing the same game.
______
Anyway, cross-game chat is pretty convenient for chatting at any time with anyone, in or out of a game.
Rage is linear. ID Software cannot stress that enough. Not open world like Fallout.
Also 'zeddy' excluded Rage and BF3 because they're games predominately developed on PC, therefore look a lot better on PC and most of the screenshots and footage shown that look impressive are from PC. Console versions, on the other hand, are yet to prove better looking than Uncharted.

Is there a reason you excluded ...
How are they even competing when they are aimed at two different audiences? PlayStation fans and handheld gamers will want a PS Vita to play games. While the casual web browsing app fanatics will want an iPad. Just because there's a device that can do multiple things doesn't mean dedicated systems are dead. For example, your phone may play music, but a lot of people still prefer to use their MP3 players. There's a reason Apple still sells the iPod (and multiple versions of it).
Not going to happen!
Yay?
and then he goes to defend Jim Sterling for hating on games people like.
The line between elitist and assho** is very thin.
Am I sensing a double standard in this article?
Anyway, I agree that elitists suck!
What's your point?
Why wouldn't they take advantage of cutscenes to better load times?
When he jumps over the fence is a cutscene yes. But what is your point? You think we didn't know that?
Again, they're just talking in that cutscene. Action scenes are in-game.
ND chose that level because there are more cinematic elements and makes good trailer and show material. It is not representative of the whole game like you're trying to ...
It was a nice 1-bubbled attempt at stealth trolling.
There will always be something better tech-wise all the time. Something new will always be released.
You can turn anything into a "con" or "minus" by calling it "old" and comparing any feature of a system to whatever new thing comes out.
The PSVs screen is a lot more energy efficient than the PSPs.
The only real "con" or "minus" is n...
Uncharted 3 might be one of those games that improves upon the previous game, yet is given a lower score.
They might try to make an issue out of something people actually enjoy and wasn't an issue to anyone up until they wrote an article about it.
Maybe they'll throw a "too much variety" comment in there.
They may even compare it with another game with different theme, setting, story AND gameplay just because they're ...
Wrong.
You're confusing MOBILE with portable.
Portable can be any device (portable MP3 player, portable DVD player, PlayStation Portable aka PSP).
Mobile gaming = phones.
_____
So "most people" and casuals aside. A gamer who wants a PSV will carry it around.
You read an opinion from a journalist and almost passed it off as a fact.
Yes a PS Vita can fit in your pocket. It's about the same ...
They may advertise them that way, but no one really buys smartphones TO play games. It's always secondary.
A Forza HD remake?
That already exists. It's called Forza 2.
Shenmue 1 was better IMO.
Jet Set Radio I agree with.
