Yeah 6vs6 seems like a strange way to go. It has a feel of 'arena fighting'.
Otoh I can't imagine 12 vs 12 nanosuit guys fighting over 1 pod. That would simply be too much chaos
Still I like the demo (on 360)
Jeez, just look properly, he missed a lot. I think he made 4, perhaps 5 hits. I guess the guy was dead by the 4th, which could make perfect sense if the shots were on the body and the guy was having Armor mode.
(but I guess ppl are truely desperate looking for faults in any game these days:)
Uhmmm, did I rage? Read better next time plz (but true it is a non-serious article)
MP side was neglected and underrated. It is a true back-to-the-basics shooter. You, your gun, yout team, the enemy and 1 map to fight it out.
Not the kids stuff killstreak 37 in COD
Not the diluted mess of BC2 (I like BC2 but 12vs12 WITH vehicles and stuff, and lots of times not even full lobbies ... doesn't work. Vehicles ok, in 16vs16 or more)
MoH MP (with it faults, few maps, sniper galore, respawnkilling) was still a thrill ride. I've burn...
It is good that EA has this 'goal' in mind. BF3 going for less-than-BESTGAMEOFYEAR would be weak. They set the bar high, good, if they pull it off all gamers will be happy.
And BF3 deserves credit for being multiplatorm (btw, as does Crysis 2)
I'm not surprised. 360/PS3 tech is 2005/6. Current PC tech is 2010+
Console games can still be good looking because console games are optimized. The first truely optimized PC game has still to see the light (read won't ever happen) PC simply uses excessive unoptimized RAW power (which comes at a price) to produce nice gfx
But true the gfx 'gap' between PC and 360 is growing. PS3 perhaps has some more juice. As xbox FPS gamer I would like to se...
Lol, Running&Gunning? Explain me how some running kid can spot me while I'm being cloaked?
Answer: He doesn't, that is why he rrruuuuunnnnnnnnnnsssssssss past me, and finds me behind him and being melee'd to death from the back (what does the kid complains, 'melee is too strong' lol)
(This is just one example why R&G won't work. Ok, initially it worked a bit because ppl were not yet used to all nanosuit features. But soon after...
Nice write-up. I enjoyed the demo myself and burned 15 hours. Looking forward to the retail coming march
'a ton of grammatical errors' hahaha, yeah right, important. What is your problem man?
I finally made it nbr 1 spot (in TDM) ... took me 6 hours. Well deserved i think after such a time-investment. I hoped that there would be a fab game deep inside, and there IS:)
I won't go as far as to say that Medal of Honor is the best. It isn't, but it IS a good game and very underrated/ignored. I love it and it is a shame that its frantic and solid MP it pushed aside by the CoD and BC gamers.
MoH is a lot more mature than CoD and a lot more compact and fast-paced than BC.
Medal of Honor is very underrated. If i may shortcut it into this:
Cod kids are too dumb for MoH and BC2 vets are too arrogant for MoH
Imho it sums it up nicely. I like the game, i like underdogs, and i like to defend it:)

I'm still playing Medal of Honor MP:)
(but ppl are sheep, that is true)
The MP side of MoH *WAS* skipped by gamers. I think 90% of the gamers didn't go for MoH MP 'because BlackOps was coming' and from the remainder 10%, 80% went straight to BlackOps on its release day. So MoH online numbers where down to 2% of the gamers, with CoD taking 90% going to BlackOps and some crumbs left to BC2.
(Didn't take Halo into the picture, its scifi afterall)
But a lot of gamers missed the point. MoH MP is good! albeit with too ...
I didn't play the beta so i wouldn't know. But i'm happy with the MP by Dice (the Frostbite feel although 'lite' compared to BC2)
For me, BO is just rehashed MW2. I stoped playing MW2 after BC demo Port Valdez arrived, and only played some BO to realize it was more of the same. Lots of content but nothing interesting for me.
I'm interested in the basics of shooting. Not in killstreak number 27 of CoDxx (granted, BC does better shooting...
True, online is down to a few thousand gamers every night (xbl) but i like the game. 70 hours and counting.
Black Ops is collecting dust
Looking forward to BC2:Vietnam
BC2 and BF3 is a given. So much quality, yeah Frostbite also. The only 'modern' game which can keep pace is MW1, a true classic, but yep that was 2007:)
CoD series is just a dead end. Where can they go but outer space LOL:)
Now, MoH, although sanwiched between the BO kids and BC2 arrogant vets is no as bad as you might think. It has frostbite and 12vs12 frantic infantry battles. I like the game, for me its a 9/10 for MP and i've burned already 55 ...
The fact that i'm 'first post' doesn't bode well for OFP:RedRiver in this CoD infested age.
Yes, i was slightly disappointed in the last outing which was Dragon Rising, but everything is better than the 'next CoD' ... so, i'm looking forward to OFP:RR
MoH (MP) is a good game. I don't think CoD:BO (and MW2 for that matter) will bring intens shootouts to the table, simply because BO and MW2 don't have Combat Mission (or Rush in BC terms).
BO is deperately bring some quality to the table (seeing e.g. a game mode like barebones but i wonder if they can loose the kiddy aura which MW2 brought to the CoD franchise)
I will buy CoD:BO to check what all the fuss is about, i might even like the game, but perh...
Frostbite 2 with 12 vs 12 infantry-only battles.
If the MoH1 gameplay is tweaked a bit, the maps a tad larger, the gamemodes and maps and guns a bit more. And if they managed to keep the thing basic as opposed to the trash of CoD lately.
... well you can have a very good shooter which can easily earn its place next to BF3. Because leaving out the vehicles/choppers makes the experience much more balanced as it is inf versus inf only
I loved Mo...
