I'm pretty sure once people see what the new Neo is capable of they'll be flocking to upgrade in droves. Hopefully more games will be designed to take advantage of the Neo power so it won't be held back.
Definitely upgrading. There's no way I'm staying with a lower performance PS4 and the ability to play 4K Bluray is a huge draw.
Please come out this year please come out this year please come out this year.
Hell yeah! Announce the Neo already!
PC gamers doesn't give a damn about Xbox games. The Windows Store sale figures make that a fact. I think someone at Crystal Dynamics dropped a number of Steam Rise of the Tomb Raider sale vs Windows Store sales and that number is over 90% for Steam.
They both failed. It's all about the Neo and Scorpio and none of them delivered any real information. Lets face the facts. 2016 and 2017 is a transitional phase in the Xbox One and PS4 just like the last year of the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The new consoles is where it's at.
Exactly. Windows 10 integration is great but without crossplay, whats the god damn point? MS needs universal cross-play on all of their games not just a handful of exclusives like Halo. For example they need a Windows store version of ESO and The Division that can cross play with Xbox gamers, until that happens this Windows 10 initiative will never get any traction. Gears and Halo alone is not going to cut it. It must be platform wide.
Casuals won't care about specs or understand WTF 6 Tflops is.
I can. My PS4 is dead and there's no reason to spend money to fix it when I can get a Neo...if it's coming this year. The Xbox S is tempting because I'll get a 4K Bluray player, something that cost $400 alone and the ability to buy one game for both PC and Xbox platform is huge. As a multiplat gamer I occasionally buy two copies of some games (BF 4 on PC and PS4, The Division on PS4 and PC, Dragon Age Origins on PC and PS4). This would unify my platforms. Very cool.
Can this play 4K Bluray or only stream vids in 4K? That's a huge difference. If this Xbox S can play 4K Bluray then that's a freaking value considering the fact that Samsung 4K player set top box costs $500-$400 alone. Along with the improved performance this feature could make the Xbox S the best value console in 2016.
Announce the Neo already Sony!
Hmm, a Ubisoft multiplayer game. So I'm guessing it'll be filled with hackers and exploiters within a month? Did The Division and RB6 Siege taught people nothing?
Sony need to hurry up and out their Neo. I'm really tempted to switch from my dead PS4 to Xbox with all these awesome hardware announcement. I'm not sure if I can wait another year.
This looks like a micro managing nightmare.
I think their "exclusives" being on PC is the best part. Buy one game and get another one for free for both platforms and with xplay between both platform. That is one hell of a feature draw.
Finally a 1080p 60 FPS console at last. Between this and the Neo it's safe to say that this generation is officially over. I would hate to be stuck with the vanilla PS4 and Xbox One going into 2017.
6 Tflops will finally put the console within range of the current generation of PCs. With that much power any game can hit 60 FPS. They should skip the slim and head straight for this.
It doesn't exist. SWBF have better graphics but can not match the scale and destructibility. Since it's release until today BF4 stands alone and the same will applies to BF1.
There are two games that are well worth the season pass. Witcher 3, and Battlefield. They add so much content and gameplay that without them the game feels like an incomplete experience. Very few games out there can match this offering.
Season pass day one.
I have two PCs that are more powerful than the Scorpio right now. One on my desktop, and one connected to my 4K TV.
And despite all that, I'm stilling getting a Neo.
