I hope it launches before the Xbone. That way more peeps will have it and that concept where people buy what their friends have would work in Sony's favor.
Plus if they can beat the M$ price they will surely be successful. Why would people buy a more expensive cable box over a cheaper gaming machine.
This coupled with the pro gamer attitude of Sony, and the games will propel PS4 ahead of Xbone.

Fanboys? This is about gaming. Whats going down here is not healthy for gaming. Many people buy used games, rent games, and borrow/lend games.

Used games are important for the entire industry. What M$ is doing is anti gamer and anti consumer.
Xbox also locks content you bought to that console.
One of my 360's red ringed. The content i bought on my original had to be copied over again. If i wasn't online on the new 360 i couldn't access my old content.
For example you can't play content you bought on another console whereas with PS3 you have a limit of 2 consoles. Even PS+ games can be copied to two systems.
Basically M$ has locked your membership, games and dlc to ...
They could raise the price as there are more features with Gold this time around.
IMO it should be free. Sony and Nintendo both don't charge to play online.
