You could buy a PS4 or PS4 Pro now but on the other hand, the PS5 is next year & it will play the whole PS4 library as well as PS5 games. If you've waited close to six years already why not wait & save for another year & get the new hardware? Unless you want to be a end of cycle buyer every generation I would suggest waiting. If you want to be a mid generation/pro buyer then you could buy the slim or pro now & hop on next gen when the PS5 pro arrives That would give you ab...
It doesn't need wireless. One cord is good.
Not excited at all.
Squawk at & shame those who like big boobs in video games. Create false narrative that these same people are outraged over Tifa's bust size. Is anyone surprised at this? I guess she thinks she needs twitter mob approval.
Not catering to every Tom, Dick & Helen's desire to have their twisted ideas of what men & women should be injected into a video game is smarter business.
Awesome! Glad these are making it to modern consoles.
This goes way beyond a box under the TV & your comparisons. Now you could be right & streaming becomes the established norm & at that point we will have no ownership of games. Even now, our current game ownership is questionable when thinking of patch download availability in the far future. A gamer that plays games may have games he wants to return to 10-20 years from now at any moment he desires. This is being compromised already by single player games requiring internet connect...
IDK about everyone else but streaming is not in my future. If next gen ends up being the last of the "traditional" consoles then so be it. That's when I stop being "current" & "modern". I'm already not buying single player games that require internet connection so maybe I've already stopped to a certain degree.
Avalance's "best game" is Mad Max & I have serious doubts that Rage 2 can topple it.
Excited for this game! Most of the big outlets are writing snooty articles because they can't get a PC message from Ubi to use to push their weirdo narrative. Whatever. This game looks great. Looks like it's quite a bit different from Wildlands. I loved Wildlands & I'm ready dive into Breakpoint.
I'll remember this title when they're shutting down the servers.
MS are the ones who have something to prove to gamers. They put themselves in this position of winning back their own customer base they used to have. They've done some good things & have made some moves in that direction but not nearly enough. They need a steady stream of exclusive games for next gen. Sony seems to be able to work with artists & studios quite well & to let them produce good quality games. Why is MS so inept when it comes to this?
I still use it too. I also like the XMB which would have been a whole lot snappier on PS4 if they would have carried it over.
And I'll be able to play them all on the PS5. It would be a nice boon if they announce later a deeper cut into BC.
Hitting all the nostalgia buttons. Looks pretty cool. Melee, Ranged or Magic choice.
Cross-Play was a hot topic. It never had a future.
We don't know what they have planned for PS5. PS4 games are confirmed but as far as deeper BC, we don't know yet.
We also haven't heard about the XB2.
@ shaggy
I get what you're saying but I think most people enjoy paying to play online which is why it's a thing. If people would have refused then it wouldn't be. That's really what PS+ is now, just a online MP fee with a couple games a month to make you feel like you're getting something. I think most people are fine with that. I was for a long time but I'm at a point now that I don't think I need it. I can back up all my game saves myself to a flash driv...
It's not that there's something wrong with the games. It's just, plus just isn't as good as the PS3 days. Plus went from a game focused sub to pay to play online with games being a bonus. For those who have no interest in MP & usually buy the games they want the service has lost a lot of it's luster.
Yeah. I'm not interested in streaming games at all. I'm never going to do it. That's just me though.
