I never got into the souls series but Bloodborne looks darker & more bloody which I like. My issue is I would probably only play this game coop with friends & from my understanding it doesn't allow drop in drop out coop.
I'm betting the game is good & have a preorder to prove it.
It's not because it's a PS exclusive. It just has a great setting & I love it when Lycans are portrayed well. Even with my very public rants against MS I would be interested in this game if it were exclusive to the Bone.
My only concern is the Letterboxing. I'm not a fan of that for video games. If it somehow adds to the experience & I can see first hand the reason for choosing to letterb...
I might be interested if they release it in the US.
This is good to hear but PS4 Game audio isn't working correctly now for LPCM HDMI. Center channel audio is lost in many games.Let's get that worked out first.
I bought this game for the PS4 console. I'm not expecting perfection. Heck, I still play Skyrim from time to time & it's definitely nowhere near perfect on PS3 but all of those quests & stories I can lose myself in. It feels like a living world.
What Skyrim does right is so awesome. If the Witcher 3 ends up doing just a few things right that keep me playing then it's gonna be a win for me. If the frame rate drops occasionally it's not the end of the world. The ...
Yeah, I want to try Rogue Legacy & Transistor. I will also download the others. Pretty good month for PS+.
Meh.
Why would anyone buy Defiance when you can download it & play for free?
Who cares! It's not that good of a deal.
I own the Gold wireless headset & use them for late nights on PS3 & PS4.
I'm very happy with them. They sound good, they're easy to use & super comfy.
I use my home theater audio when I can but the Gold wireless serve well for when quiet gaming is a must.
I suspect I would shop around for better sound quality if I needed a full time pair but for my purposes they're perfect.
Turtle Beach have been too boom heavy for me in the pas...
I've ranted enough on this topic but it's nice to see that others have the same concern about internet reliant games & what this means for the future.
Not only for the digital only future but for the here & now. Unfinished games & day 1 patches seem common place already but I digress.
I love the way the game looks but unfortunately I'm not a fan of competitive multiplayer so I won't be playing it.
That said, if I did play these type of games I would be all over it cause I like what they're doing artistically.
Steam has awesome holiday sales no doubt but I prefer my physical collection on my chosen console as oppose to someone else having my game collection behind the DRM wall.
Having said that, I do pay my $50 a year for PS+. I don't pay it so I can play online. I pay it to get the six games every month.
Two for PS3, two for PS4 & two for Vita "Every month." 72 games every year for less than the price of one new game. Yes they are digital games behind a DRM/pay wa...
I say Let's go back to putting the full, finished game on the disc without internet reliance. A good game doesn't need social media links or the internet in any form. Let's go back to single player games & couch co-op games. The internet will probably be the death of consoles in the future.
As for the competitive multiplayer crowd. I guess they would have to go back to gathering their pals for lan play. They would probably have more fun anyway.
The Wii really got up their crawl.
Kingdom Hearts 2.5. Is that a good deal? Isn't it $30 almost everywhere?
I would have seriously had a freak out moment if I opened my PS4 to find just a box of rocks.
@ Jaqen_Hghar - I don't play racing games or fighting games except for when I attempt to play Injustice because I like DC Comics & it was free on PS+. I would have to throw Diablo 3 in there for PS4 couch co-op games. I know what your saying though. Nintendo probably does have couch co-op games. Probably a lot more than PS4. I haven't owned a Wii U long enough to know.
I agree. I just picked up a Wii U. To be honest, I couldn't decide if I wanted to plop down the money for it or not.
I've not nailed down how I feel about it yet. I've only played a few levels of Super Mario 3D World & some of the Metroid themed bit in Nintendo Land. What I've played was pretty fun so that has me optimistic that I will like more games on the system. I've owned the PS4 since launch & it's my go-to/primary game machine & the Wii U so ...
Yay for always connected consoles where almost every game forces online features.
I'm going to skip it in favor of Dead Island 2.
8 player coop (drop in drop out?), guns & vehicles ftw!
