You might trust Valve to keep your game collection for you for your whole life but I don't.
Valve has your games & if they decide to call it quits or something terrible happens, you may realize that it was all just vaporware that went poof. I don't trust any company or corporation to hold my games for me. I don't care how long they've been around. Ten years from now I may want to pop in one of my old games & replay it. Steam may still be here or may be a distan...
I don't even want to visit Fairy World much less spend houndreds of hours in it. Besides, there's too many Fairies in the real world.
Who wants to spend tons of money on hardware just to have glorified rentals with Steam being your game keeper?
Also, it looks like more & more console games are hoping into only online set ups. Look at Destiny & the upcoming Crackdown. The Division might possibly be doing this as well. I want to be able to play my games 10-15 years from now or later. As long as I have the hardware I should be able to play the single player portion. People don't think ahead & I...
How much do you save on used games?
And I will tell said people to leave on the horses they rode in on after smoochin Old Rusty.
I know people love trophies but honestly... Do they really matter? They are almost useless other than using it as a badging system to see what games your friends have played, where they've been, what they've done. Other than that, I don't see any importance. I play a game for the game & the game should be good enough to be reward in & of itself. I don't go out of my way to earn trophies. I want to play the game how I want. I don't want to be dictated by trophies. I...
My download speed is much faster than my 3Mbs upload. Will I be able to Shareplay a decent game for a friend with 3Mbps?
After what happened to Dragon Age & Mass Effect I have no trust in Bioware whatsoever. Inquisition will have to be something awesome to get me to buy it. No preorder, no day one buy from me. I have the lowest expectations for the game after ME & DA were destroyed. Can they prove me wrong? That remains to be seen.
As for right now. Not a planned purchase.
I can't be bothered with Destiny anymore. There's really nothing left to see. Don't get me wrong, I got my money's worth (gameplay hours) but there's not much point in playing now.
I don't think I'm going to buy into the DLC or the next games.
I think this goes without saying but it' nice to hear it and be reminded of it.
Is this for real? A joke?
1- Controller Battery
2- Messages should be quicker & snappier
3- Pause/Resume Feature
4- A good Media Remote
5- Folders for Games
These would help out a lot & most of the core system functions work quite well. Party Chat, messaging (needs to be faster), joining games all work well.
On top of what everyone else is saying about Ubi. The Division is yet another "only online" game. I am really getting sick & tired of this trend. For this reason alone I'm not paying full price for the game. I'll bargain bin it.
I understand your point of view & I'm sure most people agree with you & disagree with me.
I will say that most people probably already have a plethora of devices & everyone wants the "all in one" device that does everything so you don't need another. The problem is of coarse that such a device doesn't exist.
A game console is really about one thing & one thing only. Playing games & the online network. Everything else is secondary &...
The Xbone is just unable to deliver what most are looking for out of a next gen console. Many bought PS4s because of this.
It's not that I don't want features because I want to play my music while gaming but it isn't totally necessary.
Look at the last gen systems. There's really a lot of BS on them that just bogs things down. If it isn't gaming related then it really isn't necessary is it? Not saying these new systems aren't capable but just because they are capable of doing other things doesn't automatically mean it should. I didn't buy a PS4 to have a streaming devic...
Not the helmet I want for my hunter so nothing for me this weekend.
What's the point of raising my light level? I'm 27, almost 28 and having a hard time finding a reason to keep playing. I don't play PVP so what reason do I have to hit level 30. Does it unlock something besides VOG "hard"?
Story quality- WTF?
Like this website- No.
Done
I was interested in trying out FC4 but now I might just bargain bin it If I even bother with it at all. Ubi starting to piss me off.
(Shakes fist)
YAY!
COLORS for EVERYONE! :)
Seriously though, the update is great except for the MP3 flash drive only requirement. SHAREplay is the Bee's Knees if it works well.
