Maybe it will but for me, a bigger & better point is that there is great stuff all the time across all forms of entertainment. Movies, music, video games, table top RPGs, TV shows. There is so much great stuff. Yes, there is a lot of "social diversity" infused nonsense in some of this stuff but thankfully there's also still quality entertainment that isn't bludgeoning you in the nuts by people who only care about skin colors & hate male masculinity. What in the world am I missing out on as a PS4 owner that I need an XB1 for? This may different for others but for me... there's no reason to invest in a XB this gen. Maybe next gen.

There's more to it than just flipping a switch. The truth is we don't know the details behind the scenes. Everyone's so quick to jump on Sony for not allowing it when we really don't know all the reasoning as to why they're not interested in allowing it. I mean, if MS would require you to sign into XBL on PS4 then no, no way will that happen. At this point it's speculation.
I spent a lot of time with Black Flag but that's only because of proper pirates, ships & treasure. I couldn't care less about the assassin's creed story line or any of the other games.

Good to see they have added L1/L2 & R1/R2 buttons. They were needed in some apps.
It would be nice to have a Sony one like the PS3 had but I'll settle for this if it works well. I hope it's a step up from the original PDP remote that chugged batteries. They did end of releasing a newer version that addressed the issue but I never bought it.
I love wired controllers. I'm not sure about this particular one.
I use a hori pad for PS4 often.
You can come up with all the reasons you want. It's not "Better" than console gaming for everyone. If it was then everyone would be playing games on their PC but the fact is that many that own a PC prefer to play games on console & you could list off a list of reasons why.
Phil Spinster & MS trying to repair their brand. Their focus on XBL seems legit though.
I haven't played all of the first game but what I did play I enjoyed. I need to get on that soon.
