Who cares about the lousy resell value? Gamestop has been banking off of nubs for years. You buy a brand new mass effect2, play it for a few days and sell it to them, they probably give you 20 bucks. Then resell it for $50.
Pokemon mmo anybody?
If you use paypal it instantly charges it
If you buy games for graphics your are a fool. Crysis on PC had amazing graphics, but the gameplay was awful.
That is because Title updates have a certain limit(like 4mb) so that it will work on consoles without hard drives.
They should shoot some HD video with 256 ppl on screen that eventually fight it out and make it a viral ad.
probably would work great in japan
hope they fix the controls. If it had fast, responsive, and fluid controls without the over the top deadzone, I would have bought it on release.
I've had 2 different ps3s die one me as well. 40gb the blu ray drive died and 80gb metal gear the gpu died.
Looked like this
looked pretty laggy to me in the video interview
Most mmo games like warcraft have 3000+ ppl on a server. The most I've had on screen in mag was probably about 50 ppl.
Hope you understand that wireless controls have a small latency, and responsiveness of the joysticks gets hindered by it. If you have a wired and wireless controller try playing with both of them for a few hours, you will notice the wired one is WAY better.
There were a few times I couldn't wall bounce in Gears2 on a wireless controller because it couldn't register the buttons combinations I was pressing fast enough.
I really hope they move the back and start button to the original spots. Playing shooters I ALWAYS use the back button to bring up the scoreboard to check how many ppl are alive.
Gears 2 playing execution. 1v4 with a shotty and a mix of fast pace wall bouncing, I blew each and every kid to pieces.
Looked like something like this video

I'm pretty sure they can search through the leaderboard database to find players with higher prestige icons then the amount of times they actually prestiged.
I made the 21/45 save, got around pretty quickly
they are basically doing what most MMO games are doing. Keep adding new content(for FREE) and people will keep playing
They needa reboot and bring back the old school gameplay such as Ps2 THUG. I got broadband(at the time) just so I could host 8player matches on there.
I played the series since ps1. Upgraded to broadband just to host 8 player matches on THUG. Bought thug2 which wasnt great. Played a copy of the next gen ones and it was awful.
If they made a "next gen" of THUG, I'd buy it day 1.
Peer game hosting gets really limited when hosting over 18 players. When you get to around 24-32 players it will begin to require dedicated servers.
