Everything is a competition, and most of the time the stuff we compete and argue over wont even affect most of us.
Does it matter if Sony has Nintendo beat with a superior product? We didnt buy a PS3 to play Wii-like games, and people bought the Wii because it is the family friendly console with titles that people know.

Well hopefully it will turn out to be a good game, but games that are developed like this usually end up being bad.
GTA IV was f*cking awesome. The story, the detail in the world, the music, the characters, and the options were great. I love that game. Also add the fact that it gave you at least 20 hours of fun, and how can you complain?

I'm not saying this isnt a great value for super God of War fans. If they did this for MGS, I'd pick it up in a second. This is a great buy for fans, but I was just saying that I probably wont pick it up

I'm not picking it up though. I'm just going to wait for the 3rd game. The game is a blast, but I've played both and the story isnt worth dropping another 40 bucks.
There is no pure PS3 version. All the versions will pretty much be the same. The only thing SE is changing becuase of the 360 version is the lack of multiple languages.
They arent going to change PS3 versions. Too much unnecessary work to avoid negative publicity. The 360 version may look different but I think the PS3 versions in different areas will look different.
The iphone/ipod touch is going to sell great, the game store is going to be very productive/make a lot of money, and the brand name is going to be huge.
On paper, The ipod looks like a great gaming platform and probably the most successful, but to GAMERS this logic doesnt apply.
The buisness reports will be great, but when it comes to quality there is no comparison between the ipone and a DS/PSP.
Maybe future iphones and ipods will reach a higher leve...
But the first report is about worldwide market share of OS. The IPhone OS is .5%, but when it comes to owned MP3 players I didnt see any stats referring to ipod and its competitors.

But I'm avoiding all trailers from now until release. Dont want to ruin the game and it feels like a new trailer comes out every week for this game recently. Wish it was coming in 2009

While I think the iphone and ipod touch are awesome for people who have them, I dont think the current game setup is going to compete with the DS and PSP for people who WANT to game.
When they make the game store more organzied, and make a iphone that has better control options and more deep games then I think it has a chance to capitalize.
The iphone is great for pick up and go gaming, but doesnt have a deep and high quality expierence like seen in games like Zeld...

I disagree. ODST will sell very well, but I dont think it will hit Halo 3 numbers and it needs to hit those numbers to have a argument in this.
