The map is based on a typical U.S. suburb used to demonstrate the effects of a nuclear weapon on a residential area. That is why a nuke goes off at the end of the map.
It is a Pre Order Bonus for those people who like the map can go pre order it now and get it. for those people who do not like the map don't pre order it.
Plus alot of other games recycle popular maps from there previous game.
It is a Pre Order OFFER if you dont want the map DONT PRE ORDER the game. that way you will never play the map.

@SignifiedSix That is because Gamers made games for gamers. In today's day and age Video game Development is treated more as business. every thing is linear.
The problem isn't CoD its the gamers. CoD sells 14 million+ copies. Developers want to sell like that so they try and copy it to get that market. but it always fails.
Game developers have to come up with something new. Horde mode's are really becoming extremely boring. the only horde mode i had fun in was Red Faction.
I think Epic made a good choice not going to the Pendulum Wars. They would be fighting humans and just get criticized as trying to copy CoD or selling out.
this looks like EA knows MoH sucks so they tacked on the BF4 Beta so people will buy it.
