^^^ Because it would be more of a risk to make a new IP then to take a existing successful franchise and change things up.
thinking about this again it would be interesting if they did a FPS gears but put in thrashball as Multiplayer.

I think it would be easy for Developers/Publishers to somewhat scare Gamestop into giving them some of the profit of used game sales.
Its kinda funny the developers are mad at Gamestop yet they give gamestop exclusive bonuses for pre ordering there game.
Didn't they say this would be a game mode like 4 months before the game even came out.
