So that the potential attachment to certain characters would yet to exist after the act.

How can Mafia 3 be "remastered"? It released on the current gen consoles! I think it's just being bundled with the other 2 games. I'll get the first two games at a later stage.

MLB The Show is only available as a digital download outside of North America (I know for the PAL region anyway).
So, many of us are not inclined to spend money on it at release and we can't return it or sell the game if we don't like it. I don't think we even get a demo either.
