Considering the level of games they made, I'm surprised that more than 2 people worked there. 45 people (+ outsourcing) making mediocre mobile games, like cut the rope. I mean dude....Nintendo stooped to new lows in quality development and entertainment standards.

Anymore? This white knighting is really tardy and moot. Microtransaction was a term reserved for mobile app (and early PC) market commerce. You know, 99 cent type stuff? (features, unlocks, add free etc). PC and Consoles adopted this as a standard and negated the terminology from the start in order to cash in on it is much as possible (multi-transactional, becuase as a major for-profit biz {based on peformance} they'd be crazy not too), so why u supprised? This is only been ureasonable f...

I would say greatest “Bait and Switch” stories.
Hello Games deviated and dropped the ball too many times to call it a comeback unless you are into that kind of relationship.

PVE games have been around for a while. They have been proving this long before Helldivers was even a thought.

Just don’t. 3DO games were the worst. Imagine paying premium prices for a dog-crap version of a game. The era of barely trying or understanding their own tech and charging asinine prices… 3DN0. It’s best that you don’t admit that you had one of these.

THEY. It's a collective of investors that give no f-s unless the monkey dances for money and delivers. downfall? Urm.. dude... do you understand this is a rinse and repeat process? They won and bailed before plane crashed, the working industry did not. People saw investment money and sold themselves and the industry out like hot real estate, and now look at it. Honestly, you should be more upset with the studios that jumped on board for the carrots rather than those that were handing them...

The industry model and standards and who's in place to approve/disapprove have changed ^ what Keoken is feeling now is much like the Mobile burst 15 years ago. Expect more to come out of your own finances. Investors are treating games like movies and now (thank$ a lot for involving yourself hollywood) only the big (and money blind) investors get involved, effectively killing a lot of content that would come out with proper non-gate-kept and/or with incentivized funding.

Where is the problem part again?
There is a show
There is 76 that is perfect for non-standard fallout players and perfect for Bethesda to coin up on.
There is a Fallout Shelter
There is Fallout 4 updated for current gen (that went free for subscription services in most cases).

Also there is a whole new audience that has never seen or played fallout before. Seems like they have PLENTY to dig into, before they worry about FO5.

"with no plans to retire anytime soon" I mean this is like a common news topic involving his name. Knock it off and do some actual newsing. This is like the biggest "No Duh" article of the day, and several sites had to regurgitate it. Geez. So lame.

Because we need yet another FF VII release. What is it that Vaas says again?

777d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Um. They updated it for current gen and gave it out for free to many users. Does not seem like much of a fumble for a almost 10 year old game, not unless your'e and exputer staff writer that is. God, you guys are superficial and petty as f.

Missing a lootable item was part of the game. Random and chance helped make Fallout so much fun and interesting. This just makes it lazy and disconnected to the simulated events. An interesting feature, but Where are all these veterans that agree so hard?

People can do what they want. Also, Discord and Reddit are not your community, nor do they have to follow your "standards".

A player base that was dependent on 3d fpp.

People start to expose their entry into fallout right about here. All of the lore, material was already there. 1 and 2 trounce 3 story-wise, but the FPP gameplay is a totally different dynamic and way to experience fallout. FPP made New Vegas a much bette mr way to experience the classic western fallout experience. Also, New Vegas destroys 3 as a survival game, ethics, action consequence simulator. 3 is a goody-goody boyscout sim...

Yeah, cause their moral code is gunning people down and smack talking. Even as a comedy cameo, that's a very bizarre and disconnected $ grab.

What Blizzard?, the people who sold it? the employees that used to work there?

All you got left is a bunch of new people posing on the clout of a once reputable/ now tarnished company.
