Take your saved $300.
Buy a Wii. That way you will at least have one console that doesn't break or sound like a jet engine.
And as a bonus the graphics on the Wii are so weak you don't have to worry about games being on more than one disc.
A game like GTA could be a big problem with 2 discs.
Think of it this way. The whole game is New york city.
Meaning its basically one giant level.
It is not the challenges that takes up space. It's the city/people/vehicles. And they have to be loaded all the time, and have to be on the same disc.
It would suck if you had to split it up in south and north or something like that. I the middle of a car chase from the police you are asked to swap discs....
I think this is gonna be one of the funniest games this year.
I hope for Insomniac that this sells as good as Resistance. It deserves it for sure.
The story of the PS3 selling badly has been a media favorite from the start that has nothing to do with the real world.
With the resent price cut we might even see the PS3 being top seller at this time in it's lifespan. (Compared with PS1/PS2/Xbox/Xbox360)
I can already to the news twist: This just in. The PS3 is the best selling Playstation of all time.

When PS3 titles are delayed it's a bad thing for the PS3.

MS showed some nice stuff sure. But nothing we had not see before.
There was simply no wow factor. No hidden games, no games that looked better than anticipated. Halo single player didn't look as good as I would have thought.
Most of the time they talked numbers. We don't want numbers we want games.

This is a system seller. It reaches out to a lot more than the hardcore gamers.
Plus a good number of ps2 users will drool over this title.

Killzone2
Little Big Planet
Ratchet & Clank.
Looks perfect for the Sixaxis controller.
