It's not about if Sony is losing money or not. It's about getting market share so you can make a lot money down the line.
I don't know if they are going to drop the price or not, but it has little to do with the actual cost of making a PS3.
But go ahead and fell smart. That just cracks us up, well because it's obvious that you're not.
I think both will drop a couple of days before (not more because this would give them the upper hand if the other company does not do it) the GTA4 release.
Simply out of fear that the other one will do it and they will not have time to do it, before release if it's not planned ahead.

The price of the Ps3 production has gone from $800 to $400 in one year.

PS3 is leading and gaining lead in Europe.
360 is leading but losing lead in the US.
Half the games of today don't know what Fallout 3 is.
Therefor it should be no where near the top of the list.
Most anticipated game is GTA4 followed by MSG4 if you ask me.

Gears of War is my all time favorite game.
But to say that this game doesn't suffer from serious lag is plain crazy.
It takes one player with a semi slow connection and the game is ruined.
That's just the facts. But man I still love it.
Hope they fix the lag for number 2.

But lets see if the GTA4/MSG4 combo in the coming months cant surpass it.
If the PS3 games hold the release dates they have now it's set up for a perfect spring and fall.
To me this is not a shame.
I want the developers to use their time on next gen games and not what (believe it or not) we already saw last gen on the PS2.

Gears of War and eventually Gears of War 2 is the only reason I ever turn my 360 on. But we are going to have to wait to Gears of War 3 before it goes multi platform.
