Why invest time, finances and resources into something only to watch it go bust?
Mind as well shelve it until you can re-work it...I don't understand why games are canned...unless they are absolutely abysmal and in that case...more than a few have snuck by.
Let them waste that one good shot and its over....That's all there is to it. It's all about timing.
There is actually a medal you unlock when you get someone who is reloading...I'm betting that is there just for the sawed-off users.

Gears 3 is a massive improvement over the first two games and is my favorite game so far this year. I'm sure a lot of people feel that way.
This is the 3rd game in the series so I don't get why all the haters are being ridiculous about it. You've had plenty of opportunity to hate on the last 2 games...move on. This game deserves some credit- its awesome.

I actually enjoyed the Gears 2 trailers more and thought the music was just far more epic compared to the Gears 3 trailer but Gears 3 takes the cake for the series all the way.
Fantastic game...I can't stop playing it.
Capcom is known for ridiculously awkward and inefficient controls...this looks like it maintains that idea.
I think its kind of funny to see actual advertisements as long as they aren't directly related to the game (as that would draw you out a bit).
Kind of downplaying the fact that this is supposed to be the best of the series.
Clearly the graphical jump was much larger with Morrowind to Oblivion but at the same time Skyrim looks to improve everything...which in my book is quite a leap.
I'm just glad to see a new engine. Hopefully FO4 will be like Skyrim.
Red Dead had plenty of bugs...I've caught a few I haven't even seen listed before as well (such as bright neon plants in the sky with rocks floating above).
Fallout's bugs come from an aged engine. I think we can only expect there to be issues...
But these are both good games and massive open-world games. Bugs should be expected. For the average player like myself...you can shrug off a few bugs and keep playing.

Brown and Grey? What did you just watch a cut scene and then feel qualified to write a review? This is clearly the most colorful and vibrant Gears yet...This guy doesn't know wtf he is talking about.
I don't know why anyone who didn't enjoy Gears 1 or 2 would pick up or even play GOW3. It's no game changer. It's damn fun though and certainly a much better game than one just shy of being a pretty good game.
Funny because I'm playing Gears with no shmucks....so they must all be playing Black Ops.

Mass Effect was 2 discs and you barely had to switch them.
The next MG game would be Metal Gear Solid: Rising.
Kojima hasn't said anything about further games and I wouldn't plan on them being announced anytime soon with Rising still on deck.

Halo 4 will be amazing. It's in good hands.
Halo offers more content than lots of other games do. In terms of respecting the fans...Halo has always appreciated and respected the fans. I still play all of the Halo games I own. It has one of the greatest multiplayer experiences out there, is a blast to play and has fantastic controls.
Hate for the game? People hate on everything. Who cares what other people think? I'd love to hear what those fools play. I'll just go ahead and roll my eyes in anticipation.
What about the games that charge you in game funds to respawn like Borderlands?
Thats a primary motivator for me not to die...I'll run out of money.
