I just view the lack of 3D doing this to sonys handheld:
1. Extends battery life
2. Makes it cheaper
3. Improves viewing angle
4. Frees up the GPU meaning better graphics
That is why i am happy that sony didnt include 3D in the device.
Also i kind of view the trackpad as being a touch of innovation inspired by what nintendo did with their past handhelds. I only hope that the track pad is usefull cause so far i have no idea what i would ...
The minute i get my NGP i will download FF9 and FF7. Fantastic idea playstation suit and the day peacewalkers comes out on it i will get that as well. I hope that the NGP upscales the games from the PSPs resolution.
Nice chart. I thought the specs for the Xperia play would be higher but it seems that i was wrong
It is actually a pretty good idea. The NGP has the horsepower to do it so why not? Why not complete your NGP library with PS3 games?
I am hating on the NGP. COuld you please explain why? Heres are the articles with the comments of epic and John Carmack.

exactly for me the best games are on consoles.
PC is the best. But out of the 3 consoles the PS3 version looks the best.
I completly agree. I am sure that at E3 they will be showing off a ton of games for the NGP
"In this context, Sony's two-pronged attack looks incredibly clever. PSP2 will delight the technophiles, the core gamers and the PlayStation faithful, and with franchises like Metal Gear and Monster Hunter apparently in the bag, it's a shoe-in for healthy sales among the existing core demographic. Meanwhile, Sony offers the casual market and the world of consumers who only want to carry one device in their pockets a different proposition - the PlayStation experience right there o...
Late 2013 seems about the right time for a new console.
Not only does Kojima approves but Epic and Carmack said a lot of wonderful things about it
Judging from the games that i have seen from the NGP and the 3DS. My personal preference has got to be the NGP since it has the fanchises that i love playing on the PS3. Also since i enjoy playing online a lot the NGP would be the best choice cause Nintendo has terrible online. Not to mention the fact that i can use the NGP as a GPS device which means i wont have problems finding anything. Also i am a huge fan of OLED screens (i own a walkman X) so thats another selling point for me.
He means like Iphone thin
Kojima is incredible. I only hope that he releases a ZOE on the NGP would be awesome
should be cause of the improvement in hardware.
their good videos as well thks
Of course it makes sense to sell your product to the largest market which are the casuals. Microsoft doesnt need core gamers to make a hefty profit if they have the casuals.
who needs it? Its just a useless feature that would add to the cost of the device
What is going to make or break the NGP is the price. And i do hope that Sony wont repeat the price blunders that they had with the PS3 and the PSP. 299€ would be a great price for a device such as this plus it wouldnt be priced way ahead of the 3DS so that should help with sales. Just a refresher.

The screen isnt HD. It looks like it is cause of the small screen size. If sony were to have a true 720P screen on the NGP the gpu would have to work harder to fill more pixels which means worse graphics. Looks like they spent a lot of time engineering the NGP and it shows.
