I am probably going to wait for an improved version of the 3DS. One that will have better batterylife. I am almost positive that nintendo will do this cause they do it with all their handhelds.

The only thing that might affect its sales performance is the price. It wont sell as many as the DS in the beggining because of it. However it will still sell a lot and be a huge sucess. My guess is that Nintendo wants to take advantage of the early adopters since it literally has no competetion until the PSP2 comes out. And when the PSP2 comes out they will probably drop the price to widen the difference in price between their handheld and Sonys. Thats my honest opinion.

Would love the thought of playing GOW3 on the go. But this reminds me when they said that the PSP would be as powerful as the PS2 when in reality its slightly less. I think that the same will happen here that the PSP2 will be sligthly less powerful than the PS3
