not exactly. Take into account that the chips in the NGP are lowpowerd ones. Which isnt a problem cause a handheld doesnt have to render as much on screen as a console or PC. I do admit that the visuals are striking. If it wasnt for the guy giving the live demonstration i would have called BS.
Hes just hyped up about the handheld. But hes right the NGP has superior hardware which can mean better games. Now its up to the devs to support the NGP and take advantage of the hardware.
Sony really worked their butt off in designing this thing. I think that the PSP was sort of an experiment for sony. The listend to the public and they fixed a lot of issues that the PSP had. I am sure that in comparison to the PSP the NGP will have better batterylife, better contols due to feed back from customers. And the fact that it comes with all the add ons that the PSP had GPS and Camera makes it an even more usegfull device. Now i hope that sony learnt its lesson with pricing and will ...

Im predicting 299€ since its rumored that sony will take a loss with each console sold.
If they put 3D into the device it would have to render 2 screens instead of one which means a decrease in batterylife.

The Iphone can produce some very nice looking games. But using just the touch screen to interact with the game is horrible. The 3DS and NGP own the Iphone when it comes to games
