MGS4 is deserving of GOTY but so was every other nominee. It just so happens to be that GTA4 was the least deserving out of the group.
Ok... But these people get paid to form opinions so they should at least have a good one and since they get paid to form their opinions we have the right to say whether it is wrong or right.
Ok then lets say my opinion is that Too Human is GOTY.... I would be wrong. That would make my opinion wrong.
This is Time Magazine. Of course they are going to pick GTA4. I don't agree with it personally but it's not that bad of a choice. Better than Xplay and their Fable 2 pick and they are actually supposed to know what they are talking about.
And I'm just giving my take on his take on the game so? If he can't handle a little criticism then he shouldn't post reviews but I'm sure he can handle it so he does.
Every one does have their own opinion but when you are a major gaming publication that many people are going to listen to and decide what games to buy then your opinion should at least be close to a good one. I'm sure there will be people that agree that Fable 2 is GOTY but when you think about it there probably will be people that say that Too Human is GOTY but that doesn't mean they are right.
First of all, your scoring system is not very good. It's bad enough when somebody uses a 5 point scale but you insist on using a 3 point scale. It's not just sony fanboys saying that Fable 2 shouldn't be GOTY. I don't own a PS3 and I think Fallout 3, Gears 2, Dead Space, Devil May Cry 4, Ninja Gaiden 2, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Left 4 Dead, and even GTA4 are all better choices and thats not even including PS3 exclusives.
First of all, I'm not a Sony fanboy. I don't even own a PS3 and I think there is no way Fable 2 should get GOTY. I liked Fable 1 alot so I preordered Fable 2 but I was let down. The game was kind of boring and just far too easy. By the end of the game I was just happy to be done with it. Fallout 3 a much better game and a much better RPG.
They aren't fanboys. Especially Adam Sessler. They just don't know a good game when they see it. Fallout 3 or MGS4 should have gotten GOTY and I bet this is the only place Fable 2 will get it.

Ehhh, I could maybe see Braid making the list but I can understand somebody not wanting to put arcade games in their top 10 list. There is not many of them that can beat a full game unless you are just talking about bang for the buck.

I was just about to post the same thing. Yeah, he is definately a cheater. This story is a joke.
Something just doesn't seem right about this story. It seems to me that being chosen to be featured in the gamer spotlight might have been what got him busted if he indeed was cheating. It's pretty much just his word against theirs.
Now back to the article... That guy sounded like he was high during the interview. He probably got stoned and imagined the whole thing!
An M rating is pushing it for Halo 3. If you ask me the game should be rated T. Having Halo 3 rated the same as Dead Space and Bloodshot doesn't make much sense. This person was messed up and video games had nothing at all to do with it. If it wasn't his parents taking away Halo it would have been something else that set him off one day.
