jojo319 - Minidisc never failed, it actually won the format war between Sony's Minidisc and Phillips DCC. The two rival formats were competing to replace Music tapes not CD's.

I think Sony will cut price of PS3 after the holiday season, maybe around March 09. That's the period that sales are slow.
Microsoft makes crap hardware, thats why 360 arcade is cheap unreliable piece of junk. Sony make quality reliable hardware thats why the PS3 costs slighty more, yet offers better value with the inclusion of Blu-ray, Wi-fi & free online.

And there are some retards on this site, why the hell I got disagree's when what I said above is true. PlayTV won't work in the US. It will only work via the PSP remote play in US, then you would be required to have a PS3 recieving PlayTV freeview siginal in eithier UK, France, Germany, Italy or Spain.
Nope, only works in UK, France, Germany, Italy & Spain. Other European countries will follow later. There will be know US 'PlayTV' as you can't pick up Freeview channels in the states.
Recieved my 'PlayTV' today. Simple to install/easy to use, awesome picture quality.

Meus Renaissance - Rubbish, Blu-ray reads as fast as the 360's x8 DVD9 drive, the only time 360 reads faster is when games are using x12 DVD(mostly launch games). And since the majority of 360 games are on DVD9, PS3 Blu-ray easily matches the 360 DVD9 read speed.
Damage control, MS paid them to say this.
