Really really bad for the PS 3rd. It sold almost 100 000 less then in '07 where XBOX 360 sold almost 70 000 more then last year. Holly $hit about Wii selling 2 million.
Not necessarily - it depends on the game. Beta for COD 4 on the 360 fueled the hype big time and propelled the game into being the biggest game of '07 for example. But some demos and betas can definitely hurt a game (unfinished demo of Frontlines) or make a game (Bioshock on 360).
They need to turn the reference level setting on the 360 to "expanded" to make the black "blacker" and to get rid of that low contrast that is visible on these screenshots - they already do it on the PS 3.
Sony fans must be really butt hurt - don't you dare to say something negative or they WILL hunt you down and burn you at the stake LOL. I think that we need to start a counseling for the hardcore sony fans before they all gather up and drink some coolaid (might be for the better though).

That is not true - when halo 3 came out last year they had a massive amount of data coming in from people uploading their videos from games,screenshots and custom maps not to mention the massive amount of players playing online right away. There is simply nothing on the PS3 that can even compare to this kind of load on the network and servers, there was something like 2.5 million unique users playing online the first day and uploading stuff.
Martyrdom - you don't know jack sh1t about network. Xbox live network is operated thru servers and games have either P2P or dedicated servers (if you do some research you will find that P2P often performs better then dedicated servers).
If you think that all PS3 games are on dedicated servers than you are in for a big surprise - most games including COD 4 are actually P2P and or optional dedicated serves (Rainbow Six vegas for example) just like on the 360.

Already got Fable 2, Far Cry 2 and Gears 2 ( horde is the most fun I had in years) so i'm sorry for Treyarch but their timing for this release and WW 2 setting is why I'm not going to get this game anytime soon.
