How ironic, while reading this article, just saw an excellent PSP advert that perfectly demonstrated all that the PSP is capable of as well as some clips of games such Loco Roco 2.
Having only purchased a PS3 6 months ago after previously owning a 360, I felt a bit lost without a solid FPS (I have resistance but wasn't too keen on it, looking forward to R2 though), so picked this up and have been happy with it. In terms of sales, ironically the only reason it has sold so well is because of CoD4 obviously.
I'm looking forward to this game, especially after IGNs final hands on article, just not sure wether to get it on 360 or PS3....
Why would i be dissapointed if SONY don't advertise? I don't care about how much a game sells, only how much I enjoy it. SONY can shoot themselves in the foot, but as long as they keep pumping out an excellent list of high quality games I will be happy.

If this turns out to be true, I will be none too pleased. People can hate on MS, but at least they usually release 1st and 2nd party titles worldwide simultaneously. LBP, Resistance 2 and now SOCOM, this need to stop now.

I disagree, gears is a game that caters to a core audiance, and this core audiance would have already accquired a 360 for the original game. So I fail to see why you think the gears of war 2 fanbase would directly scale with the 360 install base.

Yea great, SONY/MM charge us to advertise another SONY IP. No thanks, i will get the free DLC, but I'm not paying for new costumes for a user based content game, and most certainly not until they really sort the server issues out. Get your priorities right.
You would be foolish to write off MS considering its still 2008. MS has a tendency to show trailers of new games in the same year they release them, Alan Wake and Huxley(vapor ware?) being the only exceptions i can think of.

I can only imagine the slating MS would get if this was on their system. The t-shirt for £4 was a rip-off, cheap cash in, I willno doubt get the free items, but certainly nothing with a cost.
It saddens me to say so, but this year for me FIFA wins, its a superb value package with excellent gameplay, PES has stood still these last few years and is paying the price for it.

A console that can't play DVDs, is essentially a repackaged Gamecube with a motion sensor controller? Sory but no, the PS3 is my idea of a great system, not the Nintendo Wii.
PSN may lag behind Live (i dont own a 360 atm, but the integration of live compared to the disjointed PSN is much better, but sony are making it better) but its way better than the Wii online thats for sure, be serious please.... -_-.
Buying the Wii is one of the worst decisions ive made in recent times, its complete garbage. The best decision ive made? Trading it in against my PS3. If i wanted to play endless generic, shallow, last gen, bottom of the barrel mini games with the worst online play out of the 3 consoles by far, i would have loved my Wii, but i don't, therefore for me it sucked.
