@newmonday and prime
$5.65 might be reasonable if we were talking about newer games since those are the kinds of games you could rent at blockbuster, but were talking about games that can be fully purhcased for nearly the same price. we need to remember these are older games, and a lot are games ive personally never even heard of. $5.65 is still overpriced for the type of games available

@brien
you know your arguments bad when you have to use 2 games as examples that aren't even on ps now lol. mgs 4 can be bought for $6.30 at gamestop and its $4 for 4 hrs on ps now. crazy taxi can be bought on the playstation store for $10. the list goes on and on, and those are 2 of the better games on there. the prices are terrible. i really don't get how you can try and justify them
they've both played current gen games at 900p
just because it'd be easy to rent a game for a few hours when you have a friend over doesn't mean its a good deal. the pricing still needs work. the minimum should be 4 hrs of actual gaming or a day for the price the 4 hr rentals are currently at.
thats not really saying much considering a few months ago they said they get about 5000-10000 players a day.
@mrmagoo
id say anywhere from 2-3 million would be my guess (in the first few months). i just finished the story completely for the first time and the game really is amazing. i played the first few chapters at my friends when it came out on ps3, but besides that, i was like you, i didnt know anything that happened throughout the rest of the game. id ...
@prime
i think you're missing the point
"games that real gamers actually want to play"
lol thanks for letting us know what a real gamer is. some of us would rather play fifa, bf4, madden or peggle over road not taken, fez, towerfall , etc.. if you like those games, good for you, but we don't all have the same taste
the last time i tried ps now, when it was free, i couldn't even play because i lagged so bad. they need to let us try them out. I'm not paying for anything until i know it'll be stable.
prices still need some work too
@angel
so? these are still the prices they're giving us right now, i think were allowed to say something about it. if we don't they wont change them
oh okay i didnt realize that. and yeah I am in the beta would you like me to give you some prices?
adventure time: explore the dungeon because i don't know
4 hours for 5$
anomaly war zone earth
3$ for 4 hrs
ben 10 omniverse
$3 for 4 hrs
ben 10 omniverse 2
$5 for 4 hrs
these prices are up as of right now
the list goes on and on. they aren't all like that...
so basically you guys are hoping it turns into something bad so you can complain more? thats what I'm getting out of this. I'm going off what we've seen so far and if they stick to the plan at hand then its gonna be good for all gamers. the gaming community isn't ready for all digital and it'll be met with huge backlash if they pull something like that eventually, and i guarantee a lot of subscriptions will be dropped. i don't get why you guys can't just enjoy what...
how does this take away from buying physical copies? they aren't putting brand new games on there. they're a little older games that get put on there once the sales die down a little. then they can get some more revenue through the subscriptions. this could be amazing for all gamers in the future if this works out. could you imagine all the publishers doing something like this? they put their games that are 6 months- a year old in the vault and you go and spend 5$ a month or 30$ a yea...
Whats the $30 have to do with ps now? That's the price of ea access not ps now. Ps nows prices are by the game and cost anywhere from 3-5$ for 4 hrs of renting. Thats the price for a month of ea access and you get all the games and a 10% discount on ea products.
Yeah I get that. I thought he was referring to the games you get from ea access, not just digital in general
Edit- I just re read the original comment and I still think hes complaining about not owning the ea access games, not digital in general.
i posted this comment somewhere else but ill ask you guys here too since theres clearly a ton of hate coming out of the sony fanboys.
which would you rather have?
4 hrs of playing "adventure time: explore the dungeon because i don't know" for 5$
you know what, maybe adventure time isn't your cup of tea. how about "alien spidy" now that sounds like an awesome game. and only $3 for 7 days, what a steal that is. ive alw...
idk whats been up with live lately. i feel like its gone down more in the past month than the past few years
@youndamie
yeah if were talking about the free games then its way overpriced. striders the only ps+ game ive had any sort of interest in so far and i played that for about an hr. id much rather pay 30$ and get the 4 games ea access is offering than pay 50$ and get 2 games that i have no interest in every month. the only reason ill continue to purchase ps+ is to play online. of course it'll get better over time but I'm talking about what we've seen so far and what ...
Hows it take ownership from us? If you buy a game its still yours, you just dont own the ones you pay 5$ to play. Do you really think we should own fifa, madden, bf4 and peggle for paying $5?
I really can't wait until a similar service is released on ps4 so we can see the fanboys talk about how great it is
heres a few 7 day rentals. these are some of the bigger games, the smaller games are even worse deals. i guess you're right, theres no problem with these 7 day rentals
