they need a unlimited play subscription service or else i don't think this things gonna take off. i just don't see people paying more than a game cost at retail, just to rent it. even if they don't own a ps3.
@showtime
if you like those games on ea access that you shrug off like they're nothing, then ea access is a much better deal than ps now.
and i liked this comment btw
"let me know when EA actually offers their brand new games on this service, the service is nothing but a way for people to pay only to play year or more older games "
most of ps nows games are a lot older than a year and it cost as much to rent on...
@thefallenangel
look at your likes, shows just how uninformed people are on this site.

no ones saying its some terrible service, just that the prices aren't good. hows that blowing it out of proportion?
"There are actual channels straight to Sony that can convert how you feel about the prices- though it's really just I've price that a bunch of trolls and Xbox fanboys and the gullible keep jumping on. But most of the people complaining can't even figure out what PS Now is, let alone figure it how to submit feedback. "
really, its only xbox fanboys and gullible people jumping on the prices?
maybe you're the gullible one tricked into ...
whoops. i meant to say he seems very unbiased***
I was a little skeptical at first about there being a need for the rerelease so soon (I only got to play the first couple scenes on a buddies ps3 last year) but after playing through the entire thing all I can think of is how happy I am they did. The games easily in my top 5, probably 3 as far as stories go, havnt played enough MP yet to talk about that side of it. Anyone who hasnt played it and is able to should be going out and buying it today
"jeez no wonder xbox is failing (i took at as he was very pro MS/Xbox)"
the xbox is failing because a guy made a video?
and he says right in the beginning he doesn't think its a system seller. he even brings up how its a lot of money to pay for live and ea access and it could be a problem. he seems very biased. then he continues to say xbox still has a lot to prove and ps4 sold 3:1 even after a xbox price cut.
yeah he messed up and said ...
no. a little ridiculous to even ask that lol. having said that, its still a great service for the money IMO, you just need to like ea games & more specifically, the ones in the vault.
if they want us to use our hard earned money then they better expect us to complain if we don't feel the prices are fair.

$6 to rent for a week, the full game can be bought for $9

$15 to rent for a week, full game price is 25$

$8 to rent for a week, full game is cheaper at gamestop $6.30

$6 for a week, $13 at gamestop.

$6 a week, $4.50 at gamestop
crazy taxi
$4 for a week. $10 for the full game on playstations own website for the digit...
Some of the games cost more to rent for 4 hrs then they do to go out and buy the full game. Thats pretty outrageous imo
i can't see it succeeding without a subscription model tbh. unless they want to drop the daily rental prices down to $1-2. the weekly prices aren't much better either, who wants to pay almost the full price of a game to rent it for 7 days? thats crazy
idk what kind of price they'd put on a subscription either. looking at the prices the games are at now (anywhere from $3-5 for 4 hrs), i don't see them setting up a subscription for less than $20 a month. especia...
@juju
yeah he is, he was in another article doing the same thing. its pretty sad how sony literally can't do anything wrong in some of these peoples eyes
i can't believe people are defending this. of course its the fanboys that talk about how greedy MS is but then they'll stick up for a service like this. the 7 day prices are close to what most of the games cost to purchase it completely. if thats not a rip off then idk what is. they need some sort of subscription model or else i don't see this thing ever going anywhere. im still not sure what kind of pricing they'd use for that either. if the single rentals range from 3-5$ for...
@chitown
i think anyone with half a brain is gonna realize paying $4 for 4 hrs for a game that can be bought for $6 is a complete ripoff, whether you owned ps3 or not.
yeah, don't get me wrong, theres a few games that aren't bad deals, but for the most part they're not good at all IMO. riptide is on there for a pretty good price too
@dj
were you renting games that were years old at blockbuster? no they had brand new games for the price were getting these old games for.
great, so the games we can fully purchase for $5-$10 are gonna be $2 for 4 hrs, what a deal
/s
really? you want a refund on the difference after using the console for 9 months?
