@WickedLester
I'd be thrilled, not because I'm a fanboy as I own multiple systems but for what it could potentially mean for game pass. If I can pay £8 a months and get 100 games plus all Microsoft exclusives at launch and all EA games at launch that would be amazing. It's obviously extremely unlikely though
agree, the foundations are there but it needs more content which I'm sure it will have at launch
extra content will be the key to this games success. rare have already said they will constantly improve and add content after launch so I think we will be ok
it's probably better to go anywhere other than n4g for real opinions on the beta. I'm waiting for the full release before I pass judgment but I had a tonne of fun during the alpha and beta
I'm a ps4 and xbox owner. I couldn't care less exactly how many have been sold as long as they are successful and each gaming division will continue to support the console and create content
and yooka laylee was disappointing imo
agree, it's a great game regardless of platform but If you own multiple consoles, xbox one x is a no brainer for multiplats
I own a xbox one x and ps4 pro. anybody who really enjoys videogames and can afford it should have more than one system so they don't miss any good games. the only reason I dont own a switch is because I just don't have the free time to use it
what difference does it make if sea of thieves is on pc, I think it's great
I'm praying for ea access to merge with game pass. buying EA is very unlikely though
I'm trying not to get too excited for e3 this year after being disappointed with both sony and Microsoft last year
@TankCrossing
What's wrong with game pass? It's going to save me hundreds of dollars this year
@zackeronii cloud computing could still play a very big part in the future of gaming. I think it was too ambitious for now though. even though I think crackdown 3 looks like trash the multiplayer could still be revolutionary. we will have to wait and see
@hench017 It would could potentially benefit game pass owners if some games became available on game pass
RpgSama
obviously Microsoft will have to invest in game pass now but all I'm saying is if game pass does well and they invest all that money back in, game pass could be something really special in 4-5 years time
I imagine if Microsoft did buy EA they would keep most games multiplatform and then have a select few exclusive to promote game pass.
The developers of crackdown 3 said 2 years ago that the multiplayer was finished and the delay was because they need more time for the campaign. So either they were lying or the cloud tech works fine. I'm pretty sure the delay at the end of last year was because Microsoft didn't want to tarnish the launch of the xbox one x because lets face it, it looked shit
I'm fine with that. my only concern with game pass was that we wouldn't see any single player games from Microsoft anymore. I would definitely subscribe to game pass if they end up doing what phil is talking about e.g invest in more first party studios and some single player game but only time will tell for now I will just subscribe when games launch like sea of thieves, state of decay 2 and I might even try crackdown 3 now.
ship combat is amazing
creating new studios and games from scratch is a lot more risky and time consuming than buying studios and ip.
