I've been checking out N4G from time to to time and noticed you in pretty much every comment section. I know you're trying to come off impartial but you do realise your bias is extremely noticeable. The last two comment sections I checked out for example are Hi-Fi rush is gamepass fodder and Motorsport is just another racing game. There's nothing really wrong with being a fanboy for one platform, there's no need to hide it.

Rare definitely coasting on the gravy train. An ex dev said the reason sea of thieves released bare bones was because the whole team spent well over a year just designing a ship.
It's been a decade since the launch of the xbox one and Rare have released one game with the next still years away. I'd love to work there, seems like they have a pretty relaxed work environment
Highly recommend this to anybody who is a fan of old survival horror games like resident evil. Only tried because of gamepass and ended up being one of my favourite games from last year
But surely if the Activision deal goes though Sony wont be able to compete anymore. The fanboys keep saying it will be a monopoly and even Jim Ryan says they wont be able to compete
All I know is I get more games on gamepass so saves me and millions of other gamers a lot of money. It's great for the consumer.
The only way Microsoft becomes a monopoly in the gaming space is if they buy Nintendo, Sony and Tencent. They're not even close to a monopoly after the Activision/Blizzard acquisition
honestly have no idea how i'm going to find the time to play all these games. gamepass just for the next 6 months looks insane and i still need to finish signalis and high on life and i've not even started persona 5, Somerville, deathloop and monkey island yet.
generations don't really exist anymore. 2 years in and 99% of games are still releasing on xbox one and ps4

6 months exclusivity doesn't really mean much when it comes to final fantasy, we still haven't seen ff7 remake on xbox yet
That's one way to look at it. We now know that Phil Spencer delayed the game twice so there's a very realistic chance it would have released late 2021 and been nowhere near the quality we're actually going to get. It's also known that just before the acquisition Sony were in the process of trying to buy some type of exclusivity deal for the game so i'd argue the game is actually better off now due to the acquisition.
