to be fair if other people buying cosmetics means I get free dlc then I'm all for that. As long as there's nothing that's pay to win I'm not to fussed
not very impressed with what I have seen so far, character animation isn't too bad but the back drops seems very bland and we still haven't seen any gameplay variety or genre mash ups, just the side scroll beat em up and 3d bike level

I agree we have seen more than pissing but nothing interesting. walking around, climbing a ladder and the tiny amount of combat looked poor imo. The story is pretty intriguing though and could turn out to be good.

I haven't played days gone yet but judging by critics scores I can't see it getting goty. metro exodus was pretty good and has a chance.

I haven't seen anything in death stranding so far that has got me excited. I mean people literally cheered because you could take a piss which is about the most interesting thing we've seen so far.
@RobtimusPrime If your only other goty contender is another game which hasn't released yet then surely gears 5 has a chance. it's probably between sekiro, gears 5 and doom eternal imo

I can't see why people think it has no chance. The only contenders so far imo are sekiro, resident evil 2 remake and maybe dmc5. We haven't seen much of the campaign but it's got an 8nsane amount of content, I think its got a great chance . The only other decent game coming this year is doom eternal. What are your guys predictions for goty
really excited about the sail vehicle thing. I really hope it lets us travel back and forth between multiple locations and explore more kinda like god of war

Don't get me wrong I love sunset overdrive, alan wake and ryse but clearly I was in the minority.
Killer instinct has been very successful and I will be shocked if they don't announce a sequel for next gen
I had loads of fun with sod2 but was a bit disappointed with quality of the game. With a bigger budget and team it could become something special. The co-op wasn't as good as I expected either.

So Microsoft buy studios so they can get exclusive games which will entice people to buy their hardware and into their services only to release them on other platforms.
Gonna try a do the campaign with a friend on hardest difficulty, we gave up about a 3rd of the way in on gears 4. It was solid and just for comparison I didn't find sekiro or dark souls 3 to bad. Has anybody here completed gears 4 on hardest difficulty?
