I think the MAIN reason alone is that people know xbox one struggles with 1080P gaming. Also, to mention that PS4 is more powerful and started out cheaper. It's also smaller and its controller has innovation.

Haven't seen anything that really proves this that's currently out and consoles have been out almost a year. Thing is, we're not like "WOW" like we were when with the graphical leap from PS2 to PS3. We didn't get that this time around.
