This makes SO much sense. You cant really see the colors when gaming on the old DS4 in day time because of the light bar location. Definitely getting one of these.

Man, nobody was saying blu ray didnt matter. People were giving Sony an advantage for having it against 360. The reason I said you'd expect Sony to have it because:
PS2 = offered DVD over the competitors. (Before Xbox released)
PS3 = offered Bluray over the competitors.
Also, because Sony actually have movie studios, this would have been a bonus for PS4 slim. 4KTVs are becoming the norm, seeing as 1080P TVs are seeing their last days on the market. As ...
Not even 1/4 of games will run at 4K/60. We're talking about a single card GPU.

The fact that X1S is the cheapest and affordable 4K player on the market ... it will drive non gamers to purchase it ... kinda like how Bluray drove lots of non gamers to buy a PS3 when it was the cheapest and most affordable Blu ray player. Ever wondered why pretty much all 3rd party games sold more on 360? Because not all purchasers of PS3 were gamers but were people who bought it for being cheapest blu ray.
Everyone with a 4KTV cares, coach. Yes, it is the best console but it still lacks features X1S has. My comments are driving people into Sony's hands? Good because every device i have is Sony and i wouldnt mind them gaining more customers.
Xbox One S wouldn't be pointless because it offers 4K video and HDR gaming with minor game performance increase. Of course its not pointless. PS4 slim doesn't offer anything besides size difference.
I guess Sony has lost the UHD playback race. Shockingly, you'd think Sony would have been first to support this.

I'm not talking about Neo/Scorpio running these current games at 60 FPS. Maybe I should have worded it differently. I'm talking about Neo/Scorpio running up to date games as they are released at 60 FPS. Any game released in this gen can run at 60 FPS wihile compromising things but when developers want to graphically demand and push these games far, they'll hit 30 FPS ... just as most of these games. No matter what GPU you have, they can be maxed.
They'll all be in 30 FPS ... smh im still getting part 1 though.
UC4 is 30 frames per second. These consoles are weak.
