Not surprising. Valve made a decision early on this gen to pretty much ignore the PS3 and that devision has been a wise one. The extra time of costs and additional time itself to port of version likely would have netted little for them. Valve is just reinforcing this decision going forward.
And 21 million customers, haha I think not. The sale through data is no where close to Sony's shipment figures to date.

One thing we do know for sure is that the game will be released on Xbox 360 and PC, although it's not yet known if it'll be a simultaneous release or if it will be staggered like the release of the first game.
EA PR not confirming Mass Effect 2 for PS3, only 360 and PC. That's all folks. Back to a more manageable tweetstream.
