I've just watched the GT review and it looks like a game I might and will enjoy once my PS3 gets delivered.

This looks more like multiple arcade games in one. Keep in mind that this isn't the only game mode.

Yes, play the campaign and choke yourself in a lame story and the same gameplay as you'd get in a multiplayer game.
Do yourself a favor and play a match against bots instead of the pos "campaign".
I wouldn't say that the 360 is for hardcore gamers only. It has a family setting! :P

To be honest, Wii deserves the win here.
Harware performance improving is NOTHING new, however, what the console offers you might and should be new in order to be rewarded with the title "best next-gen"
Too bad PS3 probably won't win due to being overpriced :P
I didn't vote on that poll, but if I did, I'd vote on the Wii even though it's the only console I don't have.
I mean.. face it, it's different from what we've had for the past generation, which means the Wii is THE next-gen. I wouldn't say graphics alone define "next-gen".

Maybe we don't have the same definition of "hardcore" when it comes to gaming.
I've played Motorstorm and it was fun for 1 lap (just like any other racing game). Although that says more about me than the game... I just don't see the point in driving in circles all the time.
Fun racing (read: driving) games in my opinion:
Burnout
Mario Kart
Twisted Metal
Carmageddon <...
DLC is optional. So the fact is, it won't cost you $85 for the actual game. Not to mention that there's nothing official if the DLC will cost anything at all, but it most likely will.
Who said it's going to run smoother on a PS3?
For all we know, people can vote even if they don't have the actual console for the game.
Why not just wait for the actual sales numbers to get public? :)
