I'll buy Gears 2 even if it just means continuing from where the first one ended and without any gameplay changes.
If EA can succeed with every fugly sports game each bloody year, why shouldn't Gears 2 succeed even if it's almost identical to the first one?
Also, giving Epic more time to develop a sequel won't do any good.
Good example: Unreal Tournament.
It kinda makes sense now, especially after reading the audio Q&A.
I think they did it to make people actually listen to the enviornment's atmosphere, which will be awesome without a doubt.
Making a system and relying on other developers for games is easy... Nintendo are actually doing the hard part.
But I won't entirely disagree with you, so I'm not the one who clicked agree or disagree if anyone does :p

oh wait... that won't help, because as soon as you say something bad.. or good in this case about a system, you'll get a ton of disagrees from the fanbots, yes, bots...

I still can't get over the feature where you can bring your character on a memory card to a friend's place and just plug it in and join his game while he's playing. The difficulty, drop rates and everything adjusts as soon as someone joins.
Saints Row had an MP3 player, and you could unlock and buy music for it in the game. Wasn't that bad, dunno why Rockstar would remove it.
Because games are all about graphics these days...
Speaking of going forward... what the hell is UT3? It's still the same game since the first one, what a joke, Epic.
