Urgh... don't even talk to me about this opening. It still hurts after all this time.
Your mum sounds like a legend... Bless her. She knew a darn sight more than my mother would have!
There were so many good games this year, and from so many different genres! I loved playing The Witcher, but also Fallout 4. Tricky to choose between all the goodness that has been around, but I'm glad that The Witcher came out on top. Wooo.
Battlefront was definitely the biggest disappointment for me, although as soon as it was said there would be no campaign I lowered my expectations. It just seems such a shame to have wasted all the potential.
Oh pinball, what a great way to spend an afternoon!
I hope they do another game in this franchise, like you said they are always such good games full of dark twists and turns. More please!
Damn it Hawke...! Great list, bless those guys just trying to do what they think is right.
Many games these days tend to be delayed by a few months, as long as the delay is used to make the games better or to add to them in some way then I guess we can't complain too much. If upon its release the game isn't overly impressive, then we might question the delay.
My other half was hooked on one version or another of this game... he was ever so upset every time he got sacked.
I totally agree with the dark brotherhood storyline... always good fun.
I know we will probably end up with a copy of these titles in our house at some point, except for COD, not so good at that game. It is definitely a tough time to be releasing games though. It probably always will be.
Hmmm it all sounds very secret squirrel to me. It would be so much better if someone just came out and told everyone what's going on!
NEED! That is all...
I will always have a soft spot for these types of games! Great review, and it seems a shame that there isn't much content. Maybe there will be in future.
I think its the in app purchases that annoy me more than any DLC price... sometimes you feel you have to buy something in game to keep up, but as you said DLCs seem more of a choice. Still, it is a buttload of money.
I love adverts that are this insane. Doesn't make me want to buy the product but always makes you talk about it.
I like that this sounds as though it is more psychological than jump scary. Sounds like a good little game though.
A brilliant little article that has got me wanting to go and hunt down some classic scary games to play over the weekend!
Shovel Knight, Darkest Dungeon and Sunless Sea look like really good games. Out of them I had only heard of Shovel Knight, so thanks bringing the others to my attention!
It does look like it should be a good game, the graphical downgrade could hit them though if people decide it isn't worth their time. Let's hope it lives up to the hype and doesn't end up being a flop in the long run.
