It is a shame it didn't really work, but kudos for trying I guess. Perhaps things like this will work better with VR coming into focus.
I've heard about this game before. It looks really sweet, but also one of those types of games where I will be dreaming about it and worrying about my carrot harvest. Brilliant!
I agree, I just don't know where they would go with it. There was lot's left unanswered but that is what made it so great!
The settlement building aspect of this game is loved by loads of players, and although I didn't really have the eye for it, a lot of people are going to love what this DLC wil bring to it!
There are just so many!!!
I'm toying with getting the season pass now as they seem to be producing pretty decent DLC I am reluctant however, because some of it should clearly have been included in the standard game anyway.
Poor Leon, his face never stood a chance against those pesky chainsaws.
I really like live action trailers, I think they get people excited about a game but it takes the focus away from graphics debates and the like. More please!
Telltale games are so good at dragging you into a story so it's good to hear that this one does just that! Great review, it has made me add it to my never-ending list of games to play!
Unfortunately this seems to be a trend across many mediums these days. Dvelopers shouldn't feel pressured to change something, how many people complain about violence in video games yet we still have that. It is their game after all, let them decide what should be in it.
I only use it on the odd occasion, mainly for shouting xbox pause at it when watching a film. I think it is another one of those things that seems really cool at the time but a lot of people have forgotten about it now there aren't many games which support it.
I agree about the storylines in Skyrim, there was something little off and lacklustre about some of them. Let's hope they learn from this give us a really smashing one for the next game. Oblivion came out 10 years ago! Eurgh, I feel old.
It's a shame this game didn't deliver what it seemed to promise. It looks really good, art wise, it's a massive let down that the characters and story are a little familiar.
I am going to pick this game up. Really enjoyed the beta and it looks incredible. Having been to New York I think is has been done really well and landmarks are instantly recognisable. There are a lot of people poo-pooing this game, but for it is one that will be making its way to my gaming shelf very soon.
Ah, Fallout 4. The gift that keeps on giving. I'm going to purposefully hunt for these now :)
Sounds like you had a really good time playing it. This is one game I am certainly looking forward to having a go at myself, even though I expect I will die often.
Some of these sound absolutely insane to achieve... Although I imagine if you got a couple you would feel super chuffed that you beat it!
Rage-quitting is annoying, but I'm not sure penalising players is the way forward. If someone wants to be an ass and do it then surely it is their choice? Better off without them on my team!
I think part of the problem like you said is that lot's of people build themselves up about a game that everyone is saying is great. What it comes down to is personal opinion, I might be really looking forward to a game because I know I will enjoy playing it but others might only be excited because everyone else is.
I wonder if the hate stems from people expecting a little more than what we have been given. Perhaps the full game will get a better reception.
