This release was so quiet I didn't even know it was out yet
If the game works with no gamebreaking bugs on day 1 - they can give me xbox 360 quality graphics and I will be happy. What's important is more fallout (with minimal bugs)
I understand it is challenging getting a game on the shelf; but it is the same challenge every business has of getting its product on a walmart shelf. Especially if you're not an established brand, to get your brand of soft drink or french fries on the walmart shelf is quite a challenge .. also it is very unlikely you will get it at eye level where the customer actually sees it. It's how retail works ... I don't see anything here that is specific to the games industry.
Just what I was going to say
I must be at least 50 hours into it and just got to Skellige and it's almost as big as Velen. Damn this game is huge, how did they do it!? Anyway, took 3 days off work to play this week but it looks like I'm probably only half way through.
Where are your manners young man ..aarding hard working merchants in the face in times o' war
I want Gwent cards - I didn't know there was such a thing.
yeah, whatever
There are always prototypes being worked on in research. You have to start early even if it is another 5 - 6 years before it is commercially released.
Well said
Held graphics back , yes .. but enabled a greater game. It's still a beautiful game... the way people are talking about it, you would think that the graphics are sub par.I would take gameplay over graphics any day.
Any game footage that you see for a game that is 2 - 3 years from release is NOT represantive of the final product - because the final product does not yet exist. It is a representation of what they will try to achieve - in this case I think it is a beautiful looking game (sure, it is not as beautiful as what we saw at E3) but more importantly it is one of the best RPGs of all time (and I say that only after 30 or so hours). Why waste time arguing and being furious over the difference in grap...
CD Project have been very open and direct from the very beginning of development. Anyone upset about this can go get a refund -- you are the one losing out on an amazing gaming experience. Also reviews were out well in time for anyone to return pre-orders.I don't get the rage.
I am what they refer to as a casual .. but I completed Bloodborne today (very proud of myself) ..amazing feeling of achievement. Be patient, learn , don't give up. I feel the same way playing the witcher ...prior to Bloodborne, would be singing its praises; it is just very hard for another game to get those kind of emotions out of me; it's a good game though.
Basically all Japanese publishers except for Atlus .. the console market in Japan is dead
In Japan .. absolutely .. For me personally ....never!
Mobile gmaing is fun for 5 minutes ... it seemed fresh and exciting 5 years ago when I first got an iphone with Angry Birds .. but then I went back to a deeper gaming experience and got a Vita for the time inbetween. Can't remember the last time I played a game on my phone or tablet(unless it was a companion app like the ones for Black Flag or Watchdogs), but clearly I'm in the minority.
In any country where you still have small privately owned game stores the street date is always broken. They will sell it to you as soon as they have it. It used to be the case here in Hungary that I could get most games up to a week prior to their release date. The distirbutor must have noticed because now most private small stores may not even have the game yet on release date
If you like a game .. support by paying for your copy.
Fantastic game. I only wish I had bought the boxed version instead of the digital... so many goodies in there.
