Know how you feel - haven't enjoyed a football game since the PS2 days . NFL2K5 damn, I loved that game ! Quaterbackclub I didnt like too much on the N64 - good graphics but gameplay was meh. Gameday felt very stiff - a ten yard run felt like 100. NFL2K5 was the closest to the perfect football game.

My favorite part of E3 2015 - EA exec says enthusiastically "Let's talk about mobile"

Where does this idea come from that it is a zero sum game - that they are making remasters at the cost of new games. A lot of the development is done by 3rd party studios who specialize in this area. Not every studio is good at making original games - but their core competency is making these remasters. While my mum is making a wonderful pot roast, I am able to make a salad and reheat some of yesterdays leftovers - but there will still be an awesome potroast.

I'm happy with my ps4 - I came from the xbox 360 and have thoroughly enjoyed the remasters so far and cant wait to finally play the uncharted series. Sure BC would have been nice last year when there were very few games - right now don't have enough time to play my current games library so not losing any sleep about not having BC. But it sure would make that PS Plus subscription even more valuable for all the PS3 games I would get with it.

Well Shenmue II apparently cost 70M. I think it was a promotional tactic - otherwise it would just be an announcment - a great one - but just another announcement. The succesful kickstarter gets people talking an dhyped and those thta never played it begin to ask what is Shenmue an dwhy is everyone so excited about it

They need to stop announcing games 2 - 3 years before release date. This is the 2nd E3 we are seeing it and not really interested anymore

Why does everything have to come out in November? I'm torn between this and Fallout 4 ...but I think I'm leaning towards fallout.

Its an amazing collectors edition, but damn that mark up is high in the UK. $119 in the US.

Fallout 4 looks amazing - I kind of lost interest for anything else coming out in the fall after that. Bloodborne, Witcher 3 and now Fallout 4 ...an amazing year for games

I'm no industry expert - but my understanding is BC would drive up the cost of the hardware as with the initial PS3 - and from what I remember it didn't pay off. BC is consumer friendly and gives us more choice as a customer but are consumers willing to spend 100+ dollars for it? The slim PS3 seemed to say otherwise.
The other thing is it is not a zero sum game - they are ample resources to create new games and develop remasters in the industry. The size of a dev team over th...

I moved from xbox 360 to PS4 - I have never played an uncharted game. I'm glad I will now get to jump into Uncharted 4 next year having experienced the Uncharted Trilogy.

The only way PS Now would work for me is if it had a Netflix model. Otherwise I would rather buy remasters or the ps1/1 classics on vita.

If you have a PS4 and finished Bloodborne recently it might be too soon. Otherwise I can imagine the other platforms would be waiting for mo' souls

With all the remaasters and weekly deals and PS Plus games, I still dont understand when I would have the will to pay exorbitant prices to stream previous gen and PS1 / 2 error games. Maybe if I have to spend time at relatives out of town and need something to play on my vita... otherwise I guess I'm not the targeted demographic.

Good word of mouth doesn't necessarily translate into massive sales unfortunately. AAA titles from the big names like EA, Activision, Ubisoft come with marketing budgets that make the Witcher 3 look like its on welfare.

It's hard to have an opinion about what the marketing costs should be for an AAA game unless we have the same comparison for other AAA games. What is the ratio of Marketing cost to dev cost for COD, Assassins Creed, Watchdogs, Destiny,

After about 50 hours I got to the Skellige Isles and Woah ...its as big as Velen if not bigger .. Awesome ... still at least another 50 hours of great gameplay to go!
