the award goes to Epic for maxxing out the 360 with the first GOW. The affordable and cheap box has been maxxxed for some time.
What's even more sad is, when all you want to do is sit down, relax, drink a beer and play a game, never knowing if today is the day that your console dies. It is a disgrace that a console exists on the market that induces a sense of anxiety with its users...everytime you want to use it. A gamer should never have to worry about these kind of things, but if your playing on a 360- you have to (and for good reason).
I don't really care what a bunch of 360 followers say about PS3, and neither does Sony. All the media and hype in the world does not change the fact that the status of PS3 is just fine. Everyone, except certain naysaying, fanfag idiots- knows that the first few years of a hardware's life is spent gaining market saturation (in the console biz), and allowing the hardware manufacture to turn a profit on production costs. This is achieved by the machine being a viable, and moderately successful v...
halo III p2. and Alan Wake in March? HAHAHA. I don't think so. This line up is weak and full of multi platform titles, and a couple of good games which were stolen from Sony. Whoever made this list is in denial that the software lineup for 360 is crap.
I doubt it will be anything worth my money. As desperately as MS tries to acquire a software line up for '09, nothing they will produce can match Sony's offerings for the upcoming year.
The only games I would even consider wanting, from this list- I can, or will be able to buy for my PC- which is vastly more powerful, and definitely more reliable than a 360. Try again.
PC- Too bad Ninja Gaiden II isn't on the list, because I would want that over any of those that are on the list. Still, NG2 is still not worth owning a 360 for.
I think the axiom goes "you get what you pay for.I'm willing to bet that 80% of the consumers who buy the 360 are unaware of the rate of failure attached to the machine, and are ignorantly only looking at the cheap price tag.
What good is this comparison if the 360 breaks down after an average of 10 months? The word "cheap" as an adjective to anything equals a f'n waste of money. This article is not only flamebait, but purely laughable. I don't care how poor a per...
The difference between both versions of the game is so small it is not even worth mentioning. Some SOB thought it would be a good idea to inject the idea that the 360 version is better than the PS3 version. Well, while this may be true it is inevitable flamebait. The PS3 version of Oblivion is cited to be better than the 360 version, but having played (and beat) both versions- I can attest that this "better" PS3 version is hardly jawdropping. The same goes for Fallout 3. I find it v...
Who cares? If I'm not pleased with what I see with the PS3 demo, I will get the PC version, especially since my PC beats the snot out of the Crapbox 360.
heh, don;t know if you're joking or not, but the 1st GOW gave my old system RROD.
So much for the 360 killer app for this season. That shyt sucked.
This is a load of crap. I, too, used to fear the eventual upgrade to Vista. But, after building my latest rig, I decided to make it a Vista machine with SP1. I really wanted to go 64bit, but I don't have 4GB of RAM. Anyway, Vista works like a charm. Graphics, security, functionality- I now see all the negative talk about it is from ignorant people who have never used it. Too bad I can't say the same for another MS product. Anyway, if you need an Apple in order to protect yourself from viruses...
My PC will eat this game for breakfast. No need to run a utility to confirm that.
Until I hear official word that its coming to 360, this is just another rumor. If it does come to 360 I'll be too busy playing Killzone II to give a hoot anyway. Who cares if the Xbots get a dumbed down version of the game...if they even get it at all?
Add this story to the "heard it a million times" list. I think most people have known or know at least one person who's been porked in the backside by MS and this RROD problem. Personally, two of my friends have already had RROD with their 360, one a premium and the other an elite. I, myself, went through two consoles before I boycotted MS hardware from my house. This is what happens when you rush a piece of hardware in order to get a heads up on the comp. Funny how Q&A goes rig...
C) because they know a PS3 is more reliable than a 360.
Microsoft, Microsoft, is that the best you can do to try to dull the impact of MGS4? LOL! Everything these idiots (MS) ever retaliate with are grandiose ratios or percentages that reflect their moderately larger user base, but say nothing that reflects the true state of their shoddy sales, or the rapidly closing gap between PS3 and 360. Its all a bunch of half-truths and propaganda. STFU, MS and make a system that doesn't break down, and then maybe you will have a leg to stand on to talk shy...
Shane Kim and M$ are a joke. M$ doesn't have a prayer at winning, lol, even now their console plans are dying. 360 is last place in every territory. The only thing positive for it, is that its one year head start afforded them to have a decent size userbase, which reflects in software sales. But soon that will be a thing of the past HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's hilarious, man. I have a friend that was bragging too, talking smugly about how "his system was a launch console, and I've never had any problems." These are people who think Halo (series) is the greatest game in the world (as if it were the only game they know). I told him that the only reason the console hasn't RROD'd is because he doesn't play it that much. I noticed that he was having people come over to his house and have marathon of co-op Army of Two, Halo 3...etc. I kn...
LOL- All I can say is that the "bottom spot" is still a very lucrative spot indeed and if this bottom spot is where all the real, hardcore gamers are, then that's where I'll be. All first place means is that your demographic is filled with a bunch of phoney @ss mainstream gamers who don't know $hyte about games and hardly play them. Or it could mean that your console is an affordable and cheap box that is accessible to the pockets of most minimum wage workers.
