Me too.
To me this talk of fearing something like Wii Fit is just silly. Did the millions of people that bought Nintendo's " core " games just walk of the face of the earth ? NO ! Nintendo and every other company out there is not going to leave that money sitting in peoples pockets by not making the likes of Mario Galaxy, Metroid or Super Smash Bros games anymore. As most of you know this is Nintendo's attempt to expand the market and from what we are seeing as far as sales goes its wo...
When I first read that he was fired more for the tone of his review I just had to go read it. It did'nt take long to find somthing that just cracked me up.
" You'll see a variety of different scenery as you play. "
That was listed as one of the only two good things about the game !
I think the game will still sell to the people that would have bought it anyways. The people that like these type of games will still enjoy it and not worry about the mediocre review.
If these rumores prove to be true (which I think have a high likley hood) it will mean many more sales software wise and hardware wise.
I love Golden Sun for the GBA and Ogre Battle on the 64 plus a revamped SMRPG for the DS would be awesome.
Still in its first year and we are getting comments like this:
" I have never seen graphics this good on any console and in my opinion it sets a whole new standard for what can be done graphically in-game ". And game play to match.
This bodes very well for the future of the PS3 and its owners.
I think not. When software is released that interesting to the consumer it will sell to the installed base. That goes without question. The more interesting thing to know is if the game is helping to sell systems ? And for how long it will continue to do so.
Time will tell. I do think that Microsoft is on the right track by securing games like this that appeal to the target audiance. The really big one to have had would have been Monster Hunter 3 but we all know Capcom decided t...
I have always loved the Jak series so I would love to see Jak & Daxter on the PS3. By the time the game hits maybe they will be using 2/3 the power ! I'm not sure what that would look like but I am having a good time imagining it.
Hey Beast I am sending a bubble your way.
The 40gb with the SM3 movie is pretty cool but when you through in a great game like R&C plus the HDMI cable you have an offer that is hard to refuse. Some are still upset because of the BC but when you add it up its about the same price to just get a new PS2 next year for 100 dallors. (thats if the rumor is ture) Anyways this should sell some systems I would think.
I think this game will sell systems as it sounds like it is not only just a great game but an experiance that most true gamers will not want to miss.
Iwata cracks me up the way he teases us. I get the feeling he really enjoys doing it too.
is about the fun and it sounds like this game has it in spades. A great reason to own a Wii along with several others.
I agree that will be fun to send a game to a friend and a nice little surprise for the person recieving it. I hope we will see more of these idea incorperated into other Nintendo games like Animal Crossing.
Integra0019 I thought I had read the whole story ? I do not see where it says 750 stores ? Please show me the place where you found this number and I will change the numbers on my post. Thanks
Seems strange to only sell HD players in that few Walmarts but that is what it said so yeah thats really not that many.
If like the article suggests there will be 18 units per store and there is around 750 Walmart stores here in the US that would make around 13,500 HD-DVD players that will be entering the market very soon. I am not sure what the percentage this number would represent as compared to overall sales of HD-DVD ?
Fixed
Nintendo has used colors in the past to help sales and since they don't seem to be able to make enough white ones we might not see any other colors for awhile yet.
While the game may not be your thing we have two sources IGN and now Nintendo Power scoring the game the same. If you would like to review the game maybe you should atleast try it first.
Its true its a Nintendo mag but I have been surprised in the past at some of the lower than average scores the mag has given to some games.
I like to see what the average is at a place like GameRankings.com when more reviews come in. One example I see in the scores above is MLB Power Pro Baseball. IGN gave the game an 8.4 and the Nintendo Power Score is 6.5. Zack & Wiki recieved the same exact score from both Nintendo Power and IGN. While some games may recieve a higher score h...
Did anyone else read this and if so what kind of impact do you think it will have for the long run ?
"One thing we're still waiting to see is how balanced online play will be with level 1 players squaring off against those who've already attained the highest level and majority of equipment. An Activision representative told us Xbox 360 gamers would be sorted by their TrueSkill ranking, whereas such a feature isn't planned for the PS3 version."
I know w...
That is a bit intense. Before I had read anything I thought it had been bedazzeled.
