The one IP you should let rest is Sonic. Would love if they returned to Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Phantasy Star and other great Sega classics that deserve attention.
Or third, the game just isn't that good. Stop with the fanboy over analysis and blaming everything and everyone else and just stop to think that maybe this game wasn't everything it was hyped up to be.
Just because the graphics are good and the game is an exclusive to Sony doesn't automatically make it the best game ever.
@CaptainObvious878
Graphically superior is the only thing The Order seems to have going for it.
Hardly anything to brag about and definitely not worth rattling off specs.
Have you seriously ever known a Nintendo game to focus more on anything else other than gameplay?
And when has the WiiU ever been known for graphics only.
Nintendo is not like MS and definitely not like Sony where most of their games are only focused on graphics. If anything Nintendo is the last company to put gameplay and design first and foremost.
Starfox has been in development since before last years E3. Which means more than likely it h...
I've been asking for a proper Starfox since the N64 version was released.
And with Miyamoto personally overseeing this I have no doubt that this Starfox will exceed and surpass the N64 version.
@Hicken
How do you know he hasn't played it? Why are you accusing everyone who doesn't like The Order of never playing it? Has he admitted to never playing the game LIKE YOU HAVE when you slammed Titanfall and Ryse?
I'm not questioning him because I agree with him. The game is not worth 60 bux and guess what, I finished it in two days and it is going right back to Gamefly.
I finished the game and even if it does have zero glitches and the game is freakishly gorgeous it's still a very mediocre game.
The gameplay just wasn't very memorable, the story predictable and over just like that.
I also hated the fact that the game wouldn't let you sprint or run in some areas where you are trying to search for items. Why?
Also a minor annoyance was when you die it just stops almost sometimes in the middle of the death a...
If you think bad reviews are going to stop this game from getting a sequel well then people are truly lost.
How could co-op take away from the story? Other games have told their story just find and had the option of co-op. Borderlands 2 and Dying Light are the first games that come to mind.
I just realized how everyone has to bring in other games and compare what they did wrong, but seem to over look or discuss what the actual game in question is doing wrong and why that game isn't blazing the meatcritic chart.
That seems to be the biggest problem when discussing The Order with a lot of you, we discuss everything else BUT The Order. Why CoD gets a pass, why MCC got high marks, why AC, BF4, Telltale games and everything else gets to have high marks...but rare...
@Hicken
Nope I have no problem with people "attacking" The Order, none at all. Does that also make you mad Hicken? Maybe those people are just giving their opinion, the same way you gave yours for Ryse and Titanfall,
"You're defending people who attack The Order, and yet you attack people who defend it by citing them attacking some other game."
LMAO, read that over but out loud and see just how insane that sounds. Mayb...

Wow. How much did Microsoft pay for this review? This game has been universally panned by reviewers. I played it and it's awful. Just a God of War clone really.

Now let's all read what Spotie had to say about reviews, then lets take a look at his old account and see what he said for a Ryse reviewer.

What's their agenda Digital?
I find it even sadder how much you place blame and attack these journalists for their opinion on the game. Finding any and all excuse as to why they don't enjoy a game that you do, any excuse except that The Order just may not be a good game.
Of course the safest and easiest thing people can do is blame reviews that don't share their bias opinion of a game they personally like on a system they prefer, excuses like them being paid off, clickbait or lack of integrity. I...
I agree, this game needed co-op.
But hopefully the supposed next game will add this feature. I want 5 player co-op.
How many times are you going to accuse people who did not like the game of never playing it?
Especially since you have been caught in your own hypocrisy twice now.
"It tried to take the game feeling out of games by giving the entire feel of the game a cinematic quality."
Didn't Heavy Rain and it's producer say the same thing?
Your whole take on the media is what I find completely wrong.
"The Order 1886 shows no resemblance to Gears of War"
It does unfortunately, just like action games are compared to God of War or FPS games are compared to COD. Any game in ...
Does that make it a good game?
A bunch of random people claiming they purposely lowered scores? C'mon son.
It may be true for some sites, but even still, that doesn't excuse the many more sites that still gave this game a low score.
People are finding a lot of excuses to try and give this game a pass. I have never seen so many people upset or defensive at everything else besides actually discussing the faults of the game.
I finished the game and it was nothing spec...
