Right on for the heads up!
Throw in Buster Douglas Boxing for Win10 and X1 and Microsoft will hands down win the video game war.
Oh snap, forgot about Bad Dudes and Two Crude Dudes, I loved those games. Okay maybe Data East has some hits that I just forgot about!
Not sold on VR but it's hard not to be at least curious about this since almost every major company is pushing this extremely hard.
My question is besides Sony, what are these other companies going to be using their devices for? At least with Sony you know the games will always be there but Samsung's VR, Oculus Rift and some other VR devices will the focus be on games?
It'll be interesting when all these head devices come out, also price is a hug...
This game jumped the shark at part 2 where your character started gaining some powers and part 3 completely was ruined with co-op. This is one of the only times where I say a series like this needs to stick to the design and the solo action of part one which was a fantastic game.
Also another animated movie wouldn't hurt, the first one was awesome.
Very strange design, would have to try this out before I judge it.
Going to have to also try this game too. And my weekend is blown if Hotline Miami 2 is also out.
This game is getting some insane reviews, I will have to check this out for myself this weekend and see what all these critics are talking about.
I don't remember Data East having a lot of great games besides Karnov and the mediocre Fighter's History.
A return of Karnov would be strongly welcomed though.
WHa!? The Atom? As interesting as that might sound I think we should focus on DC's more iconic heroes first like ...SUPERMAN, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and The Flash. Then we can start to dig deep for DC's more b-list heroes.
You did this, you said you weren't impressed with the game at all and that it didn't appeal to you at all and were happy it didn't come to Ps4. Remember Hicken?
CoD sells a million plus, does that make it the best game ever?
Just because something sells well doesn't necessarily always means it's the best thing ever. I'm sure you realize this when you where Hicken and you were constantly hating on CoD, calling the people who bought it sheep. Or did you forget that?
It seems more likely that people WERE fooled and dazzled by The Order's spectacular gameplay. Almost like a Michael Bay preview that bomba...
@Christopher
I felt the same way at that particular scene. To me it was a design decision to break up the monotony of the duck and cover shooting, but it was poorly implemented. If you get spotted why not just then blast your way into the mansion? Especially since once you get inside that's what you do that anyways.
But then it would take away the story element of the following cut scene where the leader of the resistance meets up with Galahad's partn...
Not to mention more games to praise instead of all of a sudden recognizing how great indie games are, for this gen.
Glad this game is getting good reviews, it looks like a lot of love went into every aspect of the game. Not just graphics, but story, gameplay and a passion for bringing a great platformer to the new consoles.
Can't wait for Cuphead next.
NeverWinter Nights also comes out this month if I'm not mistaken.
A metascore does not make a game triple A.
Cost and budget determines a triple A project and it's different for each company.
A triple A project for EA would not be the same for a smaller studio like this one.
So you could be right, this could be a triple A title for this studio depending on how much money and time they put behind this game.
Published by Microsoft on PC and Xbox. Sounds like a MS game to me.
It's the same way I view Nintendo first party. While MS and Sony are bragging about how much power their console has or how many features they can pump out, these smaller titles and Nintendo are focusing strictly on fun gameplay.
Besides a couple of games there really hasn't been any stand out titles or anything that I have rushed home to play only on the new consoles. WiiU really shined and came through with some excellent must have titles like Donkey Kong, Bayonetta 2, MK 8 and Smash.
Dying Light is pretty much the only game that has impressed me for the Xbox One/PS4. Sunset Overdrive and Deadrising 3 were pretty good too. Every other game has been "meh".
I'm sure ...
