From what I read elsewhere Nintendo is letting 3rd parties develop their own online which is cool for 3rd parties for giving us regular updates or even lower priced dlc...(if possible)
But by not having a unified structure or guidlines to follow means every online will be different. Will we have to sign in to EA then out,then sign in again when we play an Activision game? Then sign out and in again when we play an Ubi game? questions questions questions.
I understand that the MvC series is all about craziness and wacky times but I'm with you on why they let some things go.
For example Trons flame assis is invincible. Why? Why does that stop damn near every move?
And yes the game promotes only certain character teams to get the "no brake" combos.

I rented MK and tried the online free pass and it was crap. Lag and drop outs, no way would I buy a pass for that.
I also gamefly, I have the three game out deal because i game A LOT. If i were to buy all the games i have tried from gamefly I would be the broke. Simple.

One mistake in that game can cost you a character. Two mistakes and the game is over. Not to mention everyone who plays uses the team of Wolverine, Akuma and ______. That is all you need to beat anyone in that game.

I think you are forgetting that sony is a MULTI BILLION DOLLAR company. And that sony is the one implementing this online pass. Its kind of hard looking at this from both sides when one side makes my years worth of salary in less than one minute.
Now this multi billion dollar company is saying buy our game NEW and you can play for free. Buy it used and we will force you to pay to play online.

I gamefly all my games. If i like it I buy it, and Gamefly charges me a USED game price. And guess what, they send me the box with all the codes in it.
