I wouldn't say complaining. These guys are doing a much better critique than most.
I think even Sean Murray got caught up in his own hype and the moments of fame. It must have been exciting and overwhelming for him to have this much attention on a video game.
The game didn't live up to expectations as you yourself said and yet all you care about are the xbox fans who commented on just that.
Not to mention NMS is a multiplat game so why wouldn't xbox fans know and comment on how bad this game is?
Or has the goal posts been moved yet again and PC doesn't count?

I agree, the problem though is he went on multiple talk shows, guest shots and other media outlets and repeatedly stated these design features. In reality he should have kept quiet about a lot of these things especially if they were up in the air, he had to have known this during development.
Peter Molyneux got the same flack and it should be no different for Sean.

Well Sony seems to be implementing all of these incredible MS like tactics slowly to their users so not to get you all too upset. It's just a shame that none of you can actually see this because Sony dangles these *exclusives* in front of you.
I guess it makes it that much easier to accept.
